References for Philip Cook

Had my first shoot with Phil last week.

Pre comms were great, on the day of the shot he even gave me a lift from Plymouth in the morning.

We were shooting at his home studio, we did lots of different sets and used his very excessive collection of outfits!

At the end of the shoot we looked through the images together and they looked absolutely stunning, it was really difficult to choose out favourites!

Unfortunately my trains to get back home were all cancelled for the afternoon, but Phil was very accommodating and even let me to stay over for the night and then drove me back to Bournemouth as there were still no trains, which was really nice of him!

Can't wait to see the images and we already discussed the possibility of working together again which i hope will happen soon.

My shoot with Philip was, once again, superb. All pre shoot communications were excellent and we had a plan in place and a list of clothing before the day was out. Phil is very easy to work with and conversation easily flows. He has a keen eye for detail and easily work to a specification. He is a very friendly and professional gentleman with a real passion for photography.

Third shoot with Philip. He knew of an awesome urban style location which we went to for some night shots. Philip is so easy to get along with, and we got some amazing shots! He was super prepared, had a range of coats and styles for me to try out. He went above and beyond to make sure we got the shots we wanted and his post processing of the images were utterly fantastic!

Would recommend Philip any time for every model! A complete joy to work with, and I’m honoured to say a great friend.

I had my first shoot with Philip during my recent Cornwall and Devon tour. Philip is an absolute pleasure to work with. He is not just a great photographer but is an extremely nice person too. We got on really well and the time flew by. We produced many fantastic images and I hope I will get to work with him again in the near future. Thank you for the amazing time :)

Second shoot in with Philip and to be fair, for at least half of it we were speaking about Pokemon, one of the things we have in common with each other.

I love working with Philip and I hope we continue to work together for as long as.. Because I adore his work, his eye for vision and his cat! So much!

I really appreciate that we just flow, and before this shoot came about, we are also planning a duo shoot with Blondetravels in the new year.

I got to try on a corset for the first time at his home studio, and we did a few winter/jumper inspired fashion with a vintage tinge thanks to my new wig ;)

Oh Philip, I hope you don't ever get tired of me and Jodie! Because at this point we will probably annoy the death out of you!

Really looking forward to our next shoot already, trying new ideas! Be it solo or any duo style shoots!

AMAZING second shoot with Philip! It is completely worth your time booking in with him! He has such an eye for detail, amazing equipment which he has such a talent using (ie- various lightings etc), and must I add an awesome wardrobe full of fabulous props and outfits! Philip is great to shoot with, so relaxed, chilled and funny- you will feel instantly comfortable. Our photos came out edited great to a high standard. Thanks Philip, a pleasure as always! Look forward to seeing you later this month, can't wait to see the content we make!

He's so helpful and patient with me as someone new, and a bit shy, to this.

Comes up with loads of ideas and has really good options of items to play around with.

I really enjoy shooting with Philip, he's funny and really helps you feel at ease. I'd 1000% recommend and hope to shoot together again!

Had another amazing shoot with Philip this afternoon, In fact our 3rd shoot within the last couple of months which has been as enjoyable as all the others.

As the weather wasn't the best Philip had the best idea to use his home as a home studio for the shoot which worked well for the ideas we had come up with and he helped make my ideas come to life during the shoot. We both worked smoothly together when discussing ideas and he even had a few adorable corsets for me to pair together with a few of my wardrobe pieces, not only that but we even started planning more shoot ideas for our next shoot half way through.

Philip is such a delight to work with, always friendly and relaxing to be around.

I personally am excited to see the images from todays shoot as they are some of my favourite work we have created together so far.

100% recommend and will definitely be shoot together again soon.

P.S he's got the cutest cat even though it kept photobombing me XD

Phil and I shot together for the second time and our time flew by! All pre shoot communications were excellent and consistent. Phil is a true gentleman, a very friendly character and a joy to be around which really helps when building a good rapport!

We organised an autumn inspired shoot and hit the local parks of Somerset, finding some golden spots for our shoot and of course used a few fallen leaves as props!

After a quick cup of tea and a biscuit later we were back out for round two after changing some of the coats Phil had brought along. His suitcase was brimming and overflowing with clothing items!

We work really well together and I can completely recommend Philip without hesitation to work with, whether a new or experienced model.

I had the best shoot with Philip yesterday!

We'd been arranging a shoot for a while. Philip's pre Comms were great, he was really clear on what he wanted before the shoot so I could be prepared and he came equipped with a great selection of clothing as an added bonus ;)

4 hours absolutely flew by!

He's so easy to get along with, I had a great time and I think we got some cracking images too!

Simply put, I had an amazing time on my first ever shoot.

Philip helped me go from a nervous wreck to someone who thoroughly enjoyed it. He made it less terrifying and more enjoyable.

It was very last minute so neither of us had prepared ideas but we managed to work well together and get a few good shots in the short time we were together. The only negative is me having to dash off so quickly due to other commitments.

We are already talking about another shoot and I'm really looking forward to it, even discussing location shots. Hopefully the next one can be longer!

A bit of a last minute one, but had the pleasure of shooting with Phillip at his home today within Exeter. Covering a variety of outfits (including lingerie, fashion and promotional stuff from both our wardrobes) , he is very creative and definitely has an eye for his craft.

I feel very honoured to have the opportunity to work with him in his home, on various styles and new material.

We are already speaking about another shoot, and a potential shoot with someone we both know and get on with.

Had an amazing first shoot with Philip. Very welcoming on arrival and pre coms were excellent so knew what was expected of the shoot.

Due to weather being hit and miss, we still managed to shoot the coats collection whilst dry outside then some lingerie / fashion looks indoors. Ideas & conversation flowed and we had a good laugh throughout the shoot!

Philip was really attentive & made sure I wasn’t hungry or thirsty during the shoot.

From looking at the back of the camera shots I’m so pleased with what we created. I really enjoyed the shoot and will look forward to working with Philip again in the future.

Today I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to model his beautiful honey birdette lingerie collection.

Great pre communication, arrived on time and even hung some pictures up for me while he was here :) (what a legend)

Working with Philip was an absolute pleasure. He is extremely easy to get along with, very friendly, accommodating and lovely (as well as hilarious). For our first shoot we did location, he has an amazing collection of beautiful clothes particularly coats, and an incredible eye for detail and lighting. He works as a perfectionist, and I couldn't believe how many wonderful unique shots we managed to get in the few hours we were shooting. Unfortunately we didn't get time to do studio too, but we have arranged to do this in the next couple of weeks and I cant wait. He is great at giving guidance and advice, and is the perfect combination of a lovely character and a professional high standard photographer. Cant wait to post more images from our shoot and our future shoots to come. Look forward to working with you regularly! Highly recommend to anyone.

Worked with Philip yesterday on our second shoot together and it was a blast just like our first shoot.

From the start he was friendly and made me feel comfortable. He also had so many creative ideas throughout the shoot, Pre-comms were great as always. Within the location we used he found what certain locations he wanted to use and what ideas he had for them images.

Even through the weather wasn't working in favour for us as it started to get chilly we both still managed to get so many styles shot.

Phil and I arranged a shoot at my home and all pre shoot communications were excellent. He arrived on time and came with a large selection of clothing to shoot. He's very polite and friendly and is able to hold a good conversation, which let me tell you, during a half day shoot, is very welcomed! ;)

Phil has a good eye for detail and knows exactly what he's after but fully takes the models opinions into account.

As it turns out the weather lifted during our shoot and we were able to run outside and shoot on location. We stayed within walking distance in case of a sudden downpour but we managed to find some really fun locations!

I highly recommend working with Phil, a truly exceptional gentleman and someone I wouldn't hesitate to work with.
