I love everything about photography – working with assistants, models, make-up artists, hair stylists etc etc. I enjoy the planning and styling of scenarios. I get a kick out of interacting with everyone involved on shoot day, and then the images that finally emerge.

As I do not aim to make a living out of photography, I choose what I want to photograph. It is really important to me that everyone has a fun time and a rewarding experience.

As you can see from my website www.pscottphoto.com,I specialise in what might be termed fashion portraiture and related subjects such as jewellery and the performing arts.

After photographing for more than 20 years as an amateur, I adopted a professional approach in 2009 and qualified as a Licentiate of the British Institute of British Professional Photography in 2011.

I am based in Battersea, Central London. I do not have my own studio because I find it more flexible to hire a variety of locations, depending on the requirements of a particular shoot.

In recent years I have become a bit besotted with Hollywood glamour styled images using continuous hard light and sometimes film. I really enjoy out of the ordinary projects which might range from a one-day shoot to a project over a whole year.
