About

I originally trained as a commercial advertising photographer back in the 90’s, spending five years as a freelance assistant photographer. My personal work has won an industry award, been published in The Association of Photographers “Image” magazine and exhibited nationally.

My preference is to shoot within the studio, where I relish the control and excel at lighting, presenting my models at their very best.

Most of all, I am professional in my approach and execution, kind and considerate, and always impeccably polite.

2024

2024 will see me stepping back into the commercial workspace, working with models to produce both stills and video content for resale. TFP/content share shoots are also welcome with quality talent.

The Very Modern Pin-up

My personal project for 2024 is entitled “The Very Modern Pin-up”, taking inspiration from the American pin-up artwork of the 1940’s and adding a modern twist or element. My models will add their own personality and ideas to each shoot; then I will colour-grade the results to hint at the colour palette of the period. Over the year, we should create a fun body of work.

Wishes

Photography for me is a journey. Along the way I wish to meet positive, creative people; learn new skills; and to collaborate with models to create some great images. Let’s enjoy the experience together.
