Yet another fabulous shoot with Penny and her friend Rosie. Shooting with Penny is always a pleasure - so easy to get on with and I always have an enjoyable day. Working in a location such a Skye the landscape can be challenging and I can safely say that Penny is the most organised photographer out there when it comes to location shoots. It’s something I truly appreciate and makes me want to push harder to get the images as I know there is a warm onesie and some hot soup waiting for me at the other end. Penny will never put you through something she isn’t prepared to do herself, which sets her above a lot of other landscape/location photographers. I always immensely enjoy my shoots with Penny, and love to travel up there to see her.

Pennies and I have shot numerous times now and each shoot is as enjoyable as the last. It’s great when you get to work with someone you get on with and can bounce ideas off of and see where the shoot takes you. Pennie is one such person and i always look forward to travelling up to see her... particularly as she is now located on the beautiful Isle of Skye.

So Penny moved up to the Isle of Skye a few months ago and it didnt take alot for me to decide to drive up there to say hi!

What a fantastic place and what a fabulous host. Penny was excellent as ever and greeted me after my long drive with a wonderful hot dinner. We had planned to go out shooting the following day with her friend and wedding photographer Rosie. What a glorious day... it was November, it was cold, but Penny and Rosie made sure i had everything i could ever need to keep me warm. The scenery round Skye is breathtaking and a day just isnt enough to take it all in. We got some fantastic images that I love and I'm very much looking forward to returning in June 2018.

Penny Penny Penny!!! Such a lovely person!

I had one of my final shoots with Penny and Joel Hicks last week. Although I feel unwell through the day we managed to get some very awesome shots indeed! Penny is always a joy to shoot with and she's amazing at what she does. Kind, caring, creative, fun and just super cool!

I can't wait to shoot the second half of our shoot and if you are thinking of shooting with Penny yourself then do it! Very highly recommended!

Penny chose me for some very specific creative ideas and I was absolutely flattered as they were brilliant! Penny is a lovely lady so easy to get on with, and has a wonderfully creative mind. The photographs produced are always technically perfect and really seem to enchant you with their story... an absolute honor to work with and would very much like to do so again, should I be lucky enough to get the chance.

Finally I got to shoot with the wonderfully creative Penny this afternoon. What can I say? She is amazingly bonkers and bubbly and right up my street. She is a joy to model for and the images we produced were top notch. A talented and genuinely nice lady who oozes charisma and superb energy. I would love to work with Penny again. Highly recommended! 😊

I've worked with Penny a few times now and have loved every shoot. Not only is Penny a superb photographer but she is an excellent host, extremely welcoming, fun, easy going and open to all ideas. The outcome of every shoot has been fantastic. Highly, highly recommended.

6th shoot and still getting excited when we check back to see what we have created :) Penny is fab in everyway from hosting, props, ideas, fun and giggles to supplying biscuits!

I had my second shoot with Penny on Monday, this time it was time to get covered in paint :-) It was a great experience and a bloody good laugh too :-)

I'm so glad I've a bald head, as it would of taken a lot longer to wash the paint out after each paint idea :-)

Penny is such fun to work with, highly creative and certainly takes care of the models she works with, even if they did get paint everywhere, ooooops :-)

Penny is highly recommended.

Having known Penny from several workshop events in the past, this was our first 1:1 shoot together. Penny is awesome. Not only did she provide me with a bed in her home for two nights, but also fed me, entertained me, ferried me to/from the train station and even took me to meet her friend's new kitten! She put so much effort into the whole weekend in terms of preparation; organising the costumes she wanted to shoot and found assistants to help us on set. I had a really great time in Basingstoke this weekend and hope Penny is as chuffed with the images she made as I am. She is a creative, wonderful human with a kind heart and certainly takes good care of her models. I would definitely work with her again. Highly recommended.

Penny is great!

We shot yesterday as part of my Southern Tour and I had so much fun. Penny is warm, friendly and very welcoming. She is a great photographer and very creative too. We had such awesome props to play with and a beautiful location.. we really were spoilt, plus the weather was just perfect! What I have seen so far is really cool and I cant wait to see the final edits.

I highly recommend Penny to any model and hope we can work together again in the future!

You just have to love Penny and her cute dogs and cat! Penny is such a great character and sooo lovely! I have shot with her on a number of shoots now and she always has an awesome idea and usually accompanied by some fab outfits!

Yesterday afternoon I got to shoot with Penny again and we had so much fun. Pre comms were as always excellent and came with a description of the theme.

As I have said and I will still say, I highly recommend working with Penny!

I had a fun filled shoot with Penny last Friday, in which she was lovely to work with and a very chatty lady too. Penny shot me with Harley's to vintage cars and it was fun acting the parts to each of the eras :-)

Penny knew the shots she wanted, totally professional and the props that she brought with her, totally made the images.

I look forward to working with her again soon.

My 4th shoot with Penny at the weekend and again I really enjoyed myself. Penny had a beautiful location to shoot in and provided the most prettiest white dresses for the shoot. Her brother Al came along to help as well and shoot. Overall a great day and looking forward to our next one. High recommended for both of them!

This is long awaited reference - I actually shot with Penny at Joel Hicks Photographic in April- what a lovely lady! An absolute delight to work with! Penny's passion for photography shows through her outstanding work as well as behind the camera. During our shoot she came up with some amazing ideas and made sure that every set was absolutely perfect before moving on to the next. Very easy to get along with not forgetting fun as well which made the whole shoot very relaxed - we achieved some brilliant images. Highly recommended by me and I really do hope to work with Penny again sometime soon.

I worked with Penny whilst I was down south at the start of the month, I loved every second of not only working with her but just being in her company! She is such a lovely, down to earth person. Really chatty, slightly cooky but in a totally good way! You can have a real laugh with her whilst creating some seriously stunning images because she is also so creative.. she came up with some epic ideas that worked so well and I absolutely LOVE the images we got from the day.

Just a generally fab fab shoot, really enjoyed myself and hope to work with her again :D

I was very impressed with Penny's professionalism both during the shoot and after. She demonstrated a broad range of photography and editing skills. I felt at ease throughout the shoot and her input was second to none. The images are fantastic and will take a firm position in my portfolio.
