References for Paul Stone Photography

Dark Horse

Most of the time I meet Paul he is camera in hand, and he's a terrific photographer, but occasionally he ventures forth to the other side of the lens. It's always a pleasure when he does, because he's fabulous. Today he was Phil Collins, and he was an amazing Phil Collins. He is a lovely guy, always puts in 100%, and is a joy to work with. I'm looking forward to the next time.

It's always such a pleasure to work with Paul, whether he's photographing or playing a part himself I know there are going to be many laughs either way! This time round it was him playing Phil Collins on an 80's themed Top of the Pops shoot and he played and looked the part perfectly!

Also wanted to say and huge thanks for the support to keep me going through my own performances as it was really out of my comfort zone and was feeling rather nervous on the day but Paul kept giving me words of encouragement which was really helpful.

So on Wednesday I had a shoot with this very kind man, shooting with him was great. I haven’t had a shoot for a while and he was very supportive with poses and ideas. I also felt comfortable with Paul as he always made sure I was comfortable myself and feeling ok with everything at every moment and didn’t let me do anything I wasn’t comfortable with doing! I’m Looking forward to shooting again with Paul as his work is brilliant! :) ! Also looking forward to seeing the photos from the shoot we have done together I got a sneak peak on the day but looking forward to seeing them all when I get them. :) !

Although Paul is an amazing photographer he also does some acting/modelling for me. On this shoot I asked him to play Agent Oscar Wallace when we re created scenes based on The Untouchables.

As always Paul turned up ready to shoot he thought about his outfit and look and was brilliant.

I've worked with Paul many times now with both of us on both sides of the camera! This time he played a historical role in a gangster/FBI themed drama. He is a super guy to work with whether as a Tog or in an acting role. He nailed his part and I got some truly excellent photos of him and the rest of the cast. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Paul either as a photographer or on the other side of the camera. He's great fun!

After a considerable time of following each other and passing along the photography path, Paul and I eventually met at a Themed shoot at Rochester Studio, this time Paul was not behind the camera, but in front acting as "Oscar Wallace" from "The Untouchables". So not only an accomplished Photographer who I have followed for a good while. Paul displayed his versatility in also being in front of the camera and being able to deliver a great performance and skill to the theatrical piece, obviously a value added element when shooting behind the camera. Well done Paul, a pleasure to catch up and hope to catch up again soon. Highly recommended to all.

I was with Paul on a themed shoot at Rochester studios and it was great fun. Paul is always friendly and professional wheather in front or behind the camera and today he was in front of the lens playing his part brilliantly. I can highly recommend Paul and hopefully will get to work with him again soon.

I had the amazing opportunity of shooting with Paul yesterday, we had been planning it for a while and I’m so glad it went as amazingly as I imagined and more!

He helped bring my ideas to life and had a some of his own that worked great.

Pre coms were perfect and professional as well as on the day and after, I felt comfortable and respected throughout!

He was keen on trying new concepts and different approaches to capture some amazing shots, could not recommend him enough to anyone considering working with him.

I really hope we get to shoot again soon!

It’s always great to work with and alongside Paul,

This time he acted superbly when I asked him to be a victim of an evil armed criminal.

As Paul works on both sides of the camera he has a great eye for what looks good in a photo and when acting he can pull off his own looks perfectly

Had another fun shoot with Paul, he was one of three photographers on the shoot and he is so easy going, just gets on with taking the shot. He is so professional and an absolute joy to work with. Look forward to working with Paul sometime in the future.

Paul is always prioritising how I feel no matter what, making me feel very safe and comfortable to try new shooting styles I have never done before (Duo shoots, Acting/Story Shoots).

Finally mine a Paul's shoot happened , we shot in my old home town which was nice to be back in my area . I felt so comfortable from the minute I got there , Paul helped me carry my huge bag of clothes I had with me.

Pre communications were amazing , and Paul was happy with me sending over ideas I would like to try for the shoot too.

He made me feel at total ease , and we had a laugh and you can see in the photos that were produced how comfortable I was . We got through more than 5 outfit changes , had such a great shoot and I am looking forward to working with him again.

I recommend Paul to any model he really is amazing at what he does.

I had the great pleasure of working with Paul again on a collaboration day at Burford Manor. Paul was initially fully booked but due to a cancellation we were able to arrange a shoot time together at short notice. He is very professional and a really lovely gentleman. He was happy to show me the images at the time of shooting to make sure I was happy with them. He will not push your limits and makes you feel confident. I have no hesitation in recommending Paul to any model of any experience. I would also really like to work with him again.

I had the pleasure of working alongside Paul again at another of Burford Manor's Collaboration event days. This t8ne we managed to steal 2 shoot slots together.

This time slwe shot the complete opposite of our first collaboration and produced an entirely different set of images.

Paul is lovely to work with.

Precomms once more were great and the final results were some lovely polished images.

A super photgrapher to work with - hopefully our paths will cross again in the future.

Had an amazing shoot with Paul today. From first communication Paul was professional and courteous without pushing any levels. Everything was up to me even in the shoot. Paul was a true gent and great fun to be around on the shoot. We all had such a laugh which really made me feel at ease. Wouldn’t hesitate to work with Paul again.

What a lovely shoot! Had a fantastic time and felt comfortable from word go. The studio space was great and I got the photos back so quickly. I couldn’t recommend Paul more! He was friendly and fun and I wouldn’t change a thing. Super happy with what we came up with. He’s really creative as well 🥰

Paul is a great photographer however he is also a great actor. On this shoot I asked Paul to play a character from the 1970’s which he did perfectly but I also asked if he would help other photographers with lights and getting there shots.

Paul was great working in a cast and helping out.

Paul is a lovely guy and a good friend.
