I am always beside myself with excitement and anticipation to get into the studio with Paul!! I just love how the shoot itself can just go in whatever direction takes the fancy on the day!! It really is spur of the moment creation but with amazing and clinical execution!!

Pauls images are always flawless... Always brings his A game and his images are always TOP DRAWER!!

Worth noting he makes a banging brew and is easily one of my favourite humans not just to shoot with but to be around!!

Boundless energy, passion and ideas that just cascade out of his head!! Every time I shoot with Paul its like a fresh, vibrant and brand new experience!!

A joy to work, be around and create with and I am delighted to have more in the calendar to look forward to!!

Paul you're a LEGEND, surrounded by some great people in your lovely wife and of course the talent in her own right Kristina!!

I just love shooting with this guy at Happy Jack studio!!

I'm sure like every model does, I often have moments where I doubt myself and I think the highest praise I could give Paul, is he has a lovely way of reminding me that me doing this isn't just an accident!!

Incredibly enthusiastic, charismatic and charming but also extremely encouraging - he doesn't half make you feel welcome when you get there and his cups of coffee aren't too bad either!!

We got some fantastic shots - some lovely BTS - thanks to the lovely and very talented Kristina - The whole thing was a pleasure from start to finish!!

Paul is one of the best around - and that isn't an understatement!! He is so insightful too which is great for anyone needing a bit of advice along the way too!

I'd invite anyone to snap his hand off given the opportunity to work with him!!

Trust me you will not regret it!!

Oh my goodness I had so much fun working with this incredibly talented and entertaining man. I was very happy when Paul followed me back on Instagram. I've enjoyed his work for quite some time. I was nervous approaching him initially and was surprised when he was so willing to work with me.

Paul is so amusing. He and his team (Kristina, his assistant photographer & India, his MUA) are so chaotic but in the best way possible. They just couldn't stop roasting each other the entire time haha. I haven't had such a great laugh during a shoot in a long time. Paul was incredibly encouraging and enthusiastic throughout the session. He gave me more compliments than I deserve. I love seeing a photographer when he's excited throughout the process. Really brightens up the atmosphere.

Paul is the most efficient photographer I've ever worked with. He takes a bit of time to precisely adjust everything, make sure the lighting is perfect (He definitely is very knowledgeable)... Then bam! Within a few minutes it's image after image, banger after banger. Before you can blink he captures so many amazing shots. I'm yet to see all the images from the shoot. But based on a few quick edits I've seen so far, I'm very happy with the results.

No problems with communication. He responds so quickly. Nothing much to say except flawless.

Overall I really enjoyed my shoot with Paul. Nothing is better than working with a photographer who understands his craft and creates stunning images, and has incredible banter as well. I have nothing to fault at all. Definitely recommend him. And definitely can't wait to shoot with him again.

Having been a massive admirer of Pauls work for a long time I thought, why not send him a message to see if he would be interested in working with me - To my sheer delight he agreed and the shoot was booked in!!

All pre comms were great and Paul send me everything I needed in order to find the studio as well as some suggestions for shoot ideas.

I was made to feel extremely welcome from the moment I arrived at Happy Jack Studios!! We had an MUA, India, on board for this shoot who was just delightful and created the most incredible make up look, as well as Kristina who was super helpful and captured some amazing BTS content.

Paul is an absolute pleasure to work with - He really knows exactly what he's doing and works hard to create 'that' shot!! We bounced ideas around and he allowed me to pose freely as well as providing some direction as needed. The back of the camera looked amazing and I had some edited images sent the same evening!!!

I would highly reccomend working with Paul and I very much look forward to seeing him again soon!! Thank you Paul!!

Had the absolute pleasure of meeting Paul again at his studio today whilst shooting Lyric Reid. As always such a fantastic host and such a fun guy to be around. You just feel relaxed around the studio.

His encouragement to bring me up to the next level is something I can not thank him enough for , making me think all the time what I want and should achieve with each shot . I don't feel he knows the impact he has in doing it but without his help and commitment on these shoots , I wouldn't get the shots I do and the appreciation when I showcase my images on the Social platforms.

Paul thank you , can't wait to get together again.

Paul has been like a mentor to me and as a young impressionable model his advice about the industry has been invaluable. WOW!!! I had the best time working with Paul! I have admired his work for a long time now and we finally managed to arrange a shoot at his studio in Birmingham. I was greeted warmly by Paul and his partner Sara. Sara was a fantastic help throughout the shoot and Paul really was amazing!! I felt so comfortable from the moment I walked through the door which meant we were able to get the best images possible. It goes without saying, Paul's photography is phenomenal and if you get the chance to work with him I would highly recommend that you do! You won't be disappointed! I am absolutely thrilled to share my recent experience working with Paul in his incredible studio. From start to finish, it was a truly delightful journey.

Paul's precommunication was impeccable; he provided me with all the details I needed, from what to bring to what the shoot would entail. It was evident from the beginning that he deeply values and respects models, making sure we felt comfortable every step of the way.

On the day of the shoot, Paul went above and beyond by meeting me in the parking area and even covering my parking fee 😍 His friendly and outgoing nature created an extraordinary atmosphere where I felt not just welcomed but genuinely elated. 🥰

Paul gave me a tour of the remarkable building that houses his studio. It's an oasis of creativity, beauty, and style. The studio itself is fabulous, equipped with everything one could possibly need, from snacks and drinks to a beautiful big window that bathes the space in incredible natural light.

I was modelling for a lighting workshop where Paul was a teacher. Paul's teaching skills are top-notch; he conveyed intricate lighting concepts with ease and clarity. Even i learned a lot of intresting information, and the photos we captured during the workshop were amazing – crisp, professional, and magazine-worthy!

Working with Paul was an absolute joy, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity. I am eagerly looking forward to the possibility of collaborating with him again. Paul's professionalism, expertise, and warm personality make him a standout professional in the field.

Paul is one of those people that if it is your first time meeting him you feel as if you have known him so long. Warm , welcoming, professional and a exceptional lighting technician. Studio was spacious full of light and with words of wisdom from Paul produced some stunning images.

I cannot recommend Paul & Happy Jack Studio enough and would promote this studio at every opportunity 100% . Just turn up kick your shoes off , get a drink and everything else will just fall into place, believe me.

I spent a great couple of hours with Paul at his well equipped and spacious studio for one of his workshops. He was very friendly and welcoming from the off, and extremely generous with his knowledge and experience.

I hadn't used a studio for some time and felt I needed a refresher, and I wasn't disappointed. I feel Paul's teaching style means that photographers at any level would come away knowing far more than they already knew.

The day went swimmingly, we did 2 makeup looks one being completely different from anything I had done before and the second back to my alternative self. The make up was impeccable and the dynamic in the studio was filled with positivity and lots of laughter.

Paul is a lovely gentleman and very good at what he does, we got along instantly.

My first shoot with Paul went awesome. He has a great studio which had amazing natural light beaming through the windows, along with all his own lighting gear. Paul is very professional and easy to get along with, he is definitely very talented and enthusiastic about photography, which is what I bounce off a lot!

He is open to experimenting new ideas and going with the flow, he makes the creative process of modelling and photography come to life. I would definitely recommend working with Paul and I'd be honoured to work together again soon.

Had an amazing first shoot with Paul and Sara at their awesome HappyJack Studio in Birmingham. They're both so warm, welcoming and fun, a joy to be around and work with. I can't recommend Paul enough,it was one of the most laid back yet productive shoots I've had in a long time, and the results speak for themselves. We got lots of amazing shots, Paul is a wonderful photographer, professional and so creative. Sara is such a lovely person and an amazing assistant to Paul, they work amazingly well together as a team and I'm so glad I got to meet them both. Great shoot earlier today, Paul and Sara were great company and together they make an amazing team - I’m very impressed by the edited images I’ve seen so far and the raws are looking promising. The studio space is small but extremely versatile and the technical lighting gadgets and things are all very impressive. Paul is precise when setting up a shot and knows how to get exactly the look he’s after but is also relaxed, patient and open to experimenting. The time flew by and I’m pleased to say we were all happy with the results. 10/10 would work with again.
