I recently had the pleasure of working with Paul during a Team Black Tuition with J Black Photographic. His pre shoot communications were excellent, by far some of the best on PP. He was clear and consice in his communications which made it super helpful to know what he wanted to shoot and what he hoped to take away from the shoot.

He arrived on time and was more than happy to take John's advice on board and implemented it throughout the shoot.

Paul was polite and professional and I felt very comfortable in his presence from the start. He is friendly and approachable.

The back of camera shots looked amazing and I look forward to seeing the final results.

Team Black

Paul recently took part in a Team Black Tuition and was very attentive from start to finish. He'd clearly expressed what he was hoping to achieve and worked well to get his desires results.

He took our advice on board and was perfectly happy to listen and was proactive in asking questions. He really listened throughout and didn't hesitate to implement what he'd learned throughout the shoot.

We split the shoot into location and indoor and he was particularly understanding during the outside portion as we had a few showers in between our sets. He was friendly and conversation easily flowed.

He was fantastic to work with and we'd absolutely love to work with him in the future.

Paul discussed a tuition shoot at great length with Angel Black and undertook a Team Black Tuition with us split into two parts, the first in our home studio and the second part on location.

He arrived on time and was ready to go, so after a brief chat to confirm what he wanted to learn, we jumped straight into shooting.

Paul was super attentive throughout the shoot, really asking me questions to make sure he had understood, which is always good to see.

He put the rips and tricks into practise throughout the shoot and the back of camera shots were absolutely amazing, I really look forward to seeing his edits.

Paul was polite, processional and friendly throughout the tuition and I'd happily recommend him to others.

Omg what can I say I loved my shoot with Paul very professional and very calming and patient. I had a lovely time at the shoot I love the photos and would love to work with Paul again and highly recommend him if you need a photographer for a special occasion.I was feeling quite ill but went ahead with the shoot and so glad I did !!

Paul was so lovely to me. I was a bit flustered when I arrived as it took me a minute to find the studio - but he was very kind to me and even got me a lovely flat white coffee so i was really happy :)

Paul is a lovely kind person with a very friendly warm nature so its very easy to get along with him.

The pre-comms were really good and i brought my bag of tricks and we got to work. Paul taught me a lot about lighting and i actually went away feeling like I had more knowledge - which was great. I think that during the process of shooting together we managed to create some really lovely art and i was happy with the result - he has a really eye catching style which is really beautiful in its uniqueness and quality.

I am hoping that I get the chance to work with paul again as i really enjoyed my day in Plymouth. If you get the chance work with paul - he is an excellent photographer and lovely chap too.

He comes recommended by me to any model.

Great first shoot with Paul in Plymouth. Precomms were excellent and the shoot was very easy to set up, he arrived completely prepared with specific ideas he wanted to shoot.

The atmosphere was very relaxed, I was able to pose freely, when needed he gave me some useful directions and we also tried different ideas. The back of the camera looked great and can’t wait to see some of the final images. He had great and creative ideas, helped pick out outfits he wanted to shoot, had ideas but willing to listen to mine too.

Highly recommend to any model :)

Paul was brilliant to work with. He was very professional, organised, friendly and very creative. He came up with an idea to use technology as a concept to manipulate the image which was really interesting. It was great to work with someone who was technically minded and specific. I really enjoyed working with Paul to capture the kind of image that he had in mind and I hope to work with him again soon. Thank you for a great shoot!

I had a lovely time shooting with Paul this week. He's a thoughtful, creative and friendly person who knows how to communicate his ideas/thought process and really seems to enjoy the collaborative process of a shoot. He made me feel really comfortable and kindly valued my ideas/contributions.

Paul also came up with some brilliant composition ideas and put a lot of focus on getting them just right, which is a wonderful attitude to work with.

I also appreciated his clear communication before our shoot and would definitely want to shoot with Paul again - and I recommend you do too if you get the chance!

Just finished a wedding photoshoot with Paul and what a great first shoot it was.

Great pre comms from the start to the end, he was feiendly and professional and I felt at ease from the get go.

Paul had all the equipment needed and had a clear idea of what he was looking for. And he had his trustee sidekick (his son) with him for support with lighting and helping with anything extra needed.

An overall great day.

I look forward to seeing the images and working with Paul again in future.

Had my first shoot with Paul today.

Pre comms were excellent and Paul was totally polite and professional at all times.

He has some great ideas and with 2 amazing makeup artists we had a great shoot. Something I've never done before.

I would happily recommend Paul and look forward to working with him again in the future.

Loved my first shoot with Paul today...

Paul's fairly new to model photography but you would never know.

Pre-comms were brilliant... When I turned up Paul was ready to go with a list of ideas in which he wanted to achieve. He made me a cuppa Tea (which is always a bonus) and we got straight to it...

Very polite and respectful towards me and I felt at total ease working with him.

I think I can speak for both of us when I say we got what we wanted and much more..

Would definitely work with him again. 100% recommended.

I had a great shoot with Paul today, it was calm and relaxed and he was well prepared with a home studio set up and good location ideas.

Paul was super respectful and professional and I felt completely at ease working with him.

I did a two hour shoot with Paul on Sunday, he was welcoming, kind and creative with plenty of good ideas and also allowed me to have input with the poses style etc. I would definitely recommend him to work with and would work with him again. The studio was warm comfortable with alot of variety in backdrops and a very comfy and classy green velvet lounge style sofa.

I have over thirteen years experience modelling and in all those years Paul is honestly one of the best photographers I have worked with.

I felt safe and at ease in Paul's company and didn't not feel like I needed a chaperone with me. Paul was respectful and geniunely just a nice person to be honest.

We got some really good images out of the shoot that had a warm autumn sort of vibe.
