We was doing a an album & promotional material for a industrial metal Auger band in a Parktannas Retro Yard today. It was a fantastic multimodel shoot with Lily, Cat, Tegz and band members. Can't wait to see results :D I had a great time! Hosts are really lovely and welcoming people. There was plenty of interesting props and vintage cars + warm room for models to change. Definitely worth visiting and shooting there!

Think of a high tech studio, bristling with the very latest in remote control lighting, with an infinity cove that goes on for infinity. Think of somewhere else.....

Parktannas retro yard is something else altogether. When a place is listed as having "character", it's usually a euphemism for crumbing brickwork, plaster, peeling paint and other signs of neglect. This place has character in abundance, and it's not a substitute for decrepitude. This place demonstrates a genuine sense of love by it's owners. There must have been an incredible determination to bring together so many cars, so much vintage machinery, and a true sense of both aesthetics and humour to put it all together.

As a fan of what I'd seen during a brief stint down Route 66 (Yes, that one, the one where you go for your kicks), this place appealed to me instantly.

You want quirky, you want fun, you want period, you want style, you want variety, you want charming hosts bristling with enthusiasm and helpfulness? Then you want to come here.

It's awesome!

Had the pleasure of shooting at Parktannas today and it is such a magnificent venue. Such unique and amazing spaces to shoot, you can't help but get wonderful shots. It's like a hidden treasure and you just keep discovering more as you explore. The owners are lovely hosts and very welcoming. If you are looking for a location that is completely different and visually stunning, this is the space for you. I hope to shoot here in again in the future :)

I came for a shoot with jimbob and alan f this place is a dream, it feels like you go straight back in time, the owner is a lovely guy and his dogs are really cute and friendly managed to get some pics with one, the place is fantastic retro and gives a very oldy wordly feel it is credit to the owner such a beautiful place and good atmosphere I highly recommend this place x

I worked at the yard for the first time today on two back-to-back shoots. Pre-shoot communication was prompt and efficient and Jacqui and Tony proved to be excellent hosts. The yard itself offers endless opportunities and the six hours I spent there flew by. I have no hesitation in recommending this location to other photographers and hope to have the opportunity to return in the not too distant future.

got invited to a shoot here for the first time, and all I could do was pick my jaw up off the floor, it was raining but that just gave it an extra air of class, what a place to play, absolutely fabulous! Tony was amazing and generous with his time and space I got some excellent shots and hopefully will return soon.

Had my first shoot at the yard today and I'm absolutely overwhelmed at how spectacular this place really is! Planned 50's style location shoot can get no better than at this place. The most amazing cars and props you could possibly imagine and tony was fabulous! Couldn't recommend any higher, thanks so much, will defo be returning!

Parktannas Retro Yard is the most fantastic location for a photoshoot. From the moment you step into the yard you are transported into a bygone era. There are so many different options that you'll probably spend the first hour walking around the yard admiring the many artifacts as though you were in a vintage museum. Every corner is filled with props that will make your images look outstanding.

I booked the yard for half a day to shoot my clothing brand, but with so many areas providing a variety of different looks a full day still wouldn't have been long enough to capture all that the yard has to offer.

Jacqui was fantastic in arranging the booking and Tony was a great host providing refreshments for us throughout the day and making suggestions for the photoshoot.

If you're looking for a location that will provide you with images that stand out from the crowd, Parktannas Retro Yard is the only place to book.

Can't wait to shoot there again!

Anyone looking for an amazing vintage setup then look no further, this place is amazing. I was so impressed and enjoyed every moment of shooting here. Tony the owner was fantastic, this era is his passion and he himself even looks the part. Parktannas is like a movie set, its bursting with character around every corner, it will not disappoint I promise. Tony also modelled on the day and was a total Pro! May I also thank Tony's partner for all the lovely cups of tea and yummy biscuits .... an excellent hostess, above and beyond x

I had the pleasure of doing a portfolio shoot at the "yard" It is indeed an Aladdin's cave and with different images around every corner and then when you look again there is something you have missed. It is a blank page for a photographer and model and the owner Tony is a character as well who loves the 1940's and 50's and is very down to earth

This awesome location was used for a music video shoot. Just to make it difficult, it was a night shoot, so looked so very different.Regardless of the light and the time, this is a wonderful place to shoot. Every corner and every place you look you find something different.

Owners are lovely, they are attentive, fun and wiling to help in any way possible.

Cant wait to return for another shoot or two
