the work I create is a collaborative effort.  I prefer to shoot models instead of still life in most cases because the interaction between the model and the lense is what makes the image pop!  Formal images with the model looking straight into the camera are awesome since the eyes are really the window to the being.

Nature is my preferred backdrop.  I prefer nature because it's organic and not easily duplicated.  Nature also provides a source of connection for most viewers on a primal level that they can't even understand but are drawn to.  Ultimately my goal is to provoke thought and connection with each image.
