Photographer based in Lisbon, with extensive photography education through workshops.

I work mostly for free and for fun, and am always looking for new ideas or new challenges, where I can challenge my technical skills and my creativity.

I really enjoy photographing people and its inherent diversity and beauty, trying to find out that expression or pose that makes each of us unique. I love the interactions during the shooting, the process of showing results and working as a team towards creating new concepts. Even though I like staged photos, I do think that some of my best results are from natural sittuations.

How does someone that loves photographing people get a "not recommended" reference?

I booked a TFP session with a model that was traveling to Lisbon. I did warn beforehand that I always take an unreasonable amount of time to send the photos. This was clearly communicated - she even joked with that! Our session went quite well and we did make some very nice pictures. The model started requesting the pictures right away, and two weeks after she told me she no longer wanted the photos and requested me to delete all of them. I asked her if she would give me a bit more time, and she insisted that I should delete the photos. And so I did. The week after, she requested that I should send the photos! By this time, she gave me a negative reference. I asked politely if she would please explain in the comments why she wasn't recommending me. Regretably, she decided not to do it. In fact, she decided to give me a *second* negative reference - and we only had one shooting session (this was removed when I complained to the admins).

Fair to say that this is "my side of the story". I only wish that the "other side" was included in the note, so that you could see that it was all about poor communication after the shooting.
