Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Paul came back to Basford Hurst cottage this week to work with Caitlyn J on her three day sold out event.

All pre comms with Paul were great. He made everything very easy to organise and get booked in. On the day of the shoot he arrived on time with everything he needed and after a quick chat and a cuppa he began working with Caitlyn.

During his time with us Paul was very respectful of our location and happy to ask if he ever needed anything. He worked well alongside Caitlyn and they produced many lovely images together!!

We would of course highly reccomend Paul and look forward to seeing him again soon! Thank you for coming back to visit our location Paul!!

Summers Abroad

We have hosted Paul on 2 more abroad events - Nevada back in October last year and most recently Italy this year!

Paul truly is the life and soul of any event he attends! All the models love working with him, we love hosting him and he works so well with any photographer we pair him with too! Not only is he great company but the images he creates are just incredible! He has such a creative eye and some how always manages to capture something totally different to everyone else despite shooting the exact same set/location and model/outfit!

We really are running out of ways to blow smoke up his butt hahaha! But I think it's obvious by how many events he has attended and by all the references we have left that we think he is pretty bloody awesome and wouldn't hesitate in recommending him!!!

I happily was able to work with Paul again whilst modelling for Summer's Abroad recently in Tuscany. I absolutely adore working with Paul!

This is for a few reasons:

Paul is one of the most creative photographers I know. He is up for weird and wacky and wonderful concepts and is super enthusiastic. Even in a group situation, Paul is always able to find something really unique! He gets these super cool angles and action shots. Paul is great company, good fun and has a wonderful energy about him. He takes beautiful images with a cinematic style that I love. Paul is extremely respectful and kind and just a genuine good human.

I have nothing but praise, am happy to have gotten to work with Paul a second time and I hope it isn't the last!

Paul came back to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with Ashleigh Rae on a really inspiring and creative film project!!!

Pre comms with Paul were as always great, he arrived on time with everything he needed and after a good chat and catch up in the kitchen him and Ashleigh began shooting. Paul is great fun to have around and always respectful of the location and the model - He even provided Ashleigh with hand warmers as they spent a lot of time shooting outside in our woodland area!!

Summers Abroad

Paul joined us for another UK event - this time round our 'Wild West' event hosted at an authentic western town in Kent!

Paul is such an great photographer and has such a creative eye, so we are always excited to see what images he gets on the events, but holyyyyy cow!! The images he captured on this event are literally mind blowing!! SO cinematic and just down right bloody epic haha! This event could not have suited his style of photography more if it tried!

On top of that he was ace company as always, he really is a top guy and we just love hosting him on our events :D

Highly recommended!!!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Paul contacted me about a shoot at Basford a while ago and finally the day came for his shoot with Ashleigh Rae. Paul's pre communication was great, he arrived on time with everything he needed for the day.

Paul is really easy to talk to and an incredibly creative photographer. He brought many new ideas to Basford, shooting with some amazing lighting set ups, whilst always being respectful of our location throughout the day.

I have absolutely no hesitation to recommend Paul, and, I really hope to welcome him back to Basford again soon!! Thank you Paul!!

I think it’s pretty obvious from my previous references that I’m biased at this point haha - but Paul still remains one of our favourite humans!

Summers Abroad

Ahhh gosh I’m honestly running out of ways to describe how epic this guy is haha!!

Paul is an absolute gem and we love love love hosting him! He is not only super creative but he is also the king of portraits haha!

Paul is also just SO much fun to be around and is great company on the events. We had the pleasure of hosting him on our unthemed manor event last weekend, and already looking forward to hosting him on our next UK event, Mutiny, in June and Nevada in October. Roll on many more laughs and memories!!!

Paul has attended 2 more of our UK edition events since we last left him a reference - Lost World and then most recently Casino Royale.

We absolutely love hosting Paul on our events and always get so excited when he books on! He is just so friendly and has a great sense of humour, so instantly improves the overall atmosphere on the events!

Not only that but we are always absolutely blown away with his images from the events! He is SO creative and always manages to get something completely different to everyone else even though he is working on the same sets and the same models. Paul is such a talented photographer and we always look forward to seeing his results!

Highly recommended and can’t wait to host him on his next UK event with us :)

Summers Abroad

I honestly don’t even know where to start with this reference! Paul is one of our absolute favourite humans!!

We had the pleasure of hosting him in Nevada in 2019, and since then he has joined us on multiple UK events too, but the absolute cherry on the proverbial cake was hosting him in Namibia!

We were SO excited when he booked on this trip, as we just knew he would be such a laugh and great company - which when you’re spending that many hours in the car with someone is definitely a plus haha!! From making a bloody epic playlist between us to just spending hours gazing at the desert scenery he was the perfect company for it!

We honestly feel so lucky to have shared this experience with Paul. He was such a great travel companion - full of enthusiasm and creativity and constantly had a smile on his face. Travelling with people like that just makes all the difference and we can’t thank him enough for simply being a total legend! He played a huge part in making this event as incredible as it was and we have left with so many incredible memories because of it.

Roll on Nevada in October!!!

And if it isn’t obvious already - HIGHLY recommended!!!

I absolutely LOVE working with Paul! I’ve worked with him not only on a 1-2-1 basis but several times on my events as well as just hosting him too!

Paul has great sense of humour and is super respectful, but also he is just fab to collaborate with! He will always show you the back of the camera so you can see what he is creating, and is willing to listen to any input you may have to help improve the image!

Paul has honestly taken some of my favourite images to date in my career so the fact he is such great company is just a Brucey bonus!! I really can’t recommend him more highly :)

Paul and I spent the better part of two weeks working together on the most recent Summer's Abroad event in Namibia!

I had an absolute ball getting to know and work with Paul over the course of our trip. Paul had so many cool and interesting ideas - he was always getting unique angles and such fabulous images. He is so enthusiastic about creating art, it becomes infectious.

We spent long hours in a car together and I very much enjoyed his company throughout the entire trip, such an easygoing person, fun to be around with a very positive attitude.

I'd work with Paul again in a heart-beat and am so excited to see the photos he posts from this trip. Super happy to have met and worked with this great person and can highly recommend him to others.

Worked with Paul during a few different summers abroad events (I'm terrible at catching up with references haha). He's a great laugh to work with, really creative and gets some absolutely stunning shots. Always happy to see his name on the sheet :)

2W Location

It was Paul's first visit to Two Wei but he soon settled in and got shooting. Paul brought some very creative lighting with him and managed to capture some very interesting and different looks in the spaces he chose to shoot - a first for these type of images taken here and we think they're great!

It was a pleasure to host Paul and we can certainly recommend him to others, especially those wishing to create something different for their portfolio.

Summers Abroad

Paul joined us on one of our UK events for the first time last weekend, on our ‘Artistic Licence’ event. There were multiple sets running across the weekend all based on reinvention of famous artwork, from high fashion to quirky beauty sets and lots of majestic and painterly styling, we created our own modern takes on the classics!

We had already hosted Paul on one of our abroad events back in 2019 before the world went mad, so we were super excited to host Paul in the UK as we knew he was great company and would get on well with everybody. Paul joined us for both days of the event and as expected got on with his shooting partner and all the models really well. He’s a super bubbly character and really friendly so is honestly a total dream for any event organiser to host.

We’re super excited to see his results from the weekend and if we don’t see him before we can’t wait to host him in Namibia later this year! Highly recommended by us :)

Summers Abroad

Paul joined us on his first ever photographic holiday, I'm so glad he chose Summers Abroad for his first trip and what a trip to start with - Las Vegas babyyyy!

Paul is absolutely fab! He is so down to earth and friendly and has a great sense of humour too. It was seriously awesome having him on the trip with us :D He was great company in the downtime and during shooting hours too!

And as for his images - holy cow!!! I adore his style of photography and from what I saw on the back of the camera I am absolutely blown away! Some of my favourite images from the entire 2 weeks and definitely some of my favourite headshots of me ever!

I can't wait to see some final images from him and I really hope he can join us in 2020 :D

I've just had the most incredible time with Paul in Vegas on a Summers Abroad trip with Rachelle Summers! Paul was so lovely from the moment he arrived to the moment he left and its already not the same without him in the house! I thoroughly enjoyed shooting a wide variety of styles over the past few days - Paul is super good at giving direction to get the best shots but also very open to ideas and suggestions making any and every shoot we've had flow like clockwork and create some epic results! I had a flick through his images from the past few days and was super impressed with what I saw, seriously great shots in every single set and so many that i'm so proud to have been a part of!

I honestly can't recommend Paul enough and I really do hope we get more opportunities to shoot together again! A wonderful week and i'm so excited to see the results!

It was great to have the opportunity of welcoming Paul into my studio spaces for his first time on a studio day that I hosted with the amazing Artemis Fauna.

Paul is instantly likeable, with a friendly and professional personality. He has also worked with Artemis on a number of occasions previously and it was obvious that they had a great rapport. After a quick tour, I didn't see Paul again until the end of his shoot and everything seemed to go well with shoot spaces left, in pretty much the same way as when he arrived.

I've seen a few images so far that were shot here and I really like his creative style and uniqueness.

Paul is certainly welcome to return and is recommended! – Lee :-)

Artemis Fauna

Yaaaaay, I got to work with Paul again!!

This time, a few years (?) since the last we met at Scorpion Residence studio in Kettering.

After a good old natter and catch up we got shooting.

It's funny, we didn't have a mega plan as such, we just kinda shot away and it really worked! It's super easy working with Paul- he makes you feel comfortable and every time we shoot- we get great images.

We also shot a tiny bit of video- and even though we hadn't even talked about what we were doing...that worked too! I love it :D

So, yeah- another great shoot. Really hope we can work together again some time soon, UK, abroad- anywhere! Thank you Paul :)

Ive had so many shoots with Paul! But after not shooting together for what must of been at least 7 years, I was so happy yesterday when he took me to The Boardroom Studio! The conversation flowed and the pictures are AMAZING! Paul is such a talented photographer and i feel very lucky to work with him. Look forward to the next one!
