Hello I'm Alec a hobbyist photographer.

I do travel to studios so as to not be limited by only being able to book models who will travel 20 plus miles to studios I use regularly my most regular studio is Kempston Studios located in Kempston ,Bedfordshire MK42 7SH

For shoots further North around Stoke on Trent is Basford Hurst Cottage Studios.

Milton Keynes is Creative Space Studio, Unit 6,New Bradwell Workshop, New Bradwell,Milton Keynes,MK13 0BJ (If you use Google maps type in "New Bradwell Workshop" & it takes you into the car park that serves the units.

All shoots booked through Purple Port so the calendar can be used.

My calendar is up to date.

Payment to models,studios & other parties

I do not offer not accept TF basis even when I get to better captured it would be misleading to the model as I simply can't guarantee as I would think an acceptable turn over of images in a decent time.

 

DEPOSITS

I pay ONLY to the Studio booked for studio days of a model booking.

Simply should I fail to be at the studio (not likely ) then the studio has it's deposit money as does the model .

The deposit is what the studio asks for studio days etc so if it's 100% fee then I send that but if the model fails to be available on the shoot day I get my deposit back.

I understand that models,studios may  require deposits so I send deposits by cash with only these 2 methods

1) Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery Guaranteed Before 1pm

I get the tracking number & through Purple Port I will send you immediately th e tracking number so you can see the progress of its travel to you & I have used this before never had a problem BUT someone will need to be in to sign f or it.

2) DHL Guaranteed Delivery before 5pm Next Day 

As above same thing.

 

Models I book

I like to book models who are professional models in status or very experienced part time models.

I like to work with models between size 6 to size 10 as I buy clothes between those sizes so makes it better for me should I want something specific that the model may not have.

MUA Involvement

I would like to have their involvement as time & my experience becomes better.

Again payment is in cash on the day.

I do carry Vegan Make up kit & will add more items as time goes by which models & MUA are free & welcome to use in our shoots.

Make up application

I like to be sanitary so in my makeup kit I carry disposable lip,face etc applicators which after you use the applicator please dispose of as I do not want to put a used applicator back into it into the palette,tubes or bottles.

 

Clothes I bring

I do bring some clothes (sizes s,m so between 6to 10)&  boots,shoes (size 6 ) all of these are washed after every use or steamed.

Lighting & Props

I am going to be travelling about a bit more (need a bigger car for stuff 😂) as some of the outdoor  locations I have lighting , smoke machine, snow machine (not a tiny one but this thing sends blasts of the stuff for around & gives good coverage,.

I have a pop tent purposefully bought for model changing so no getting changed in corners & looking out for passers by 👏.

Image usage by the model

I  do Pay for shoots but I also should I feel able to send the model images but please note these will usually be unedited.

Unfortunately this being the internet I do insist that models can use the images on their own profiles , web sites including OF & Pateron but I like to have myself credited as the photographer however I do not allow images I have paid for to be sent to other third party sites for them to use which has happened twice now when I see My image with the website stamp on it such as online fashion web site recently did this.

I do not sell or loan out images to third part sites.
