It was my first time at Orchard. John was incredibly accommodating and helpful moving the shoot date and kit on the day.

Nice selection of drops. Good elinchrom lighting. Enough height for overhead lighting setups.

High ceilings, clean, tidy, spacious, plenty of tea/coffee, friendly and chatty...

Not only does it have all this but you can do natural light or studio lighting...

I am still not finished...IT HAS A BEAUTIFUL SHOWER HERE...

I had such a good time, I am coming back in March haha...

Had my third 'shoot with the adorable Miss Diamond Sparkles at this lovely intimate Studio.

My first time in Cambridgeshire.

The facilities are excellent and I thank John for being so helpful with my Camera tech issues.

John asked me to run a group shoot at Christmas Time at his studio. Not only did we sell out the day, we sold out two more (albeit a cancellation and a couple no shows). He was great at providing clothing, promoting the event and welcome people into the studio. John built a beautiful Christmas set that all photographers were very happy with. He even taxied me home after each shoot! Thank you John, for a wonderful three days.

My first visit to Orchard was a group Christmas event with Alyssa. From start to finish total professionalism, from excellent back drop to the mince pies.

Communication prior to the evening was excellent and for once was value for money.

New studio setup close to Cambridge, shot there recently on a small group shoot with Alyssa Taylor.

It was a well organised and friendly group setup allowing everyone the time to get good images.

John has a great setup with this new purpose built studio, friendly welcome and a lot of height in a compact space, this looks really flexible and close to both my home and workplace.

I look forward to getting back and using the space on my own in the new year

Orchard Studio is a lovely modern purpose built studio. It was easy to park out front and John is very welcoming and knowledgeable.

The studio is well equipped with backdrop papers and studio flash lights / softboxes. Plus separate room for models to change in. Good tea/ coffee and bathroom too.

John started shooting me with golden Isis wings which was great fun and we went on with other outfits and art nude. It's a great studio and I shall return. Possibly next time I will also be using his remote shooting via capture1. Recommended

John the owner was very welcoming and friendly and was on hand to assist as necessary. He has a great selection of equipment and knows how to use it.

This was my fourth time ( I think? ) at Orchard Studio and second time working with John. His pre comms are very easy as he knows exactly what he'd like to shoot, provides outfits for a lot of it and communicates what he'd like you to begin. On the day his wife and himself was incredibly welcoming and I was even treated to a fresh homemade cheese scone so that's an easy reason to go back!

His studio is impeccable, and a really beautiful space that I'd love to use more often.

Throughout the shoot, John tethered so I knew exactly what results we were getting and ensured everything was within my comfort levels and boundaries.

I highly recommend John and Orchard Studio - and I can't wait to return on the 28th!

Just had my second visit to orchard studio and first time shooting with John

First of all his studio is beautiful, clean and instantly puts you at ease with how safe and secure it is.

John is friendly, respectful and knows exactly how to get the best out of his models he works with.

Pre comms we’re amazing, John sent lots of ideas so I knew what to expect and we worked from a mood board all day.

Outfits were provided by John which made the whole process easier for me as a model.

Had so much fun shooting and we shot a huge range of sets in 3 hours

Can’t wait to be back and highly recommend working with John and booking the studio for your shoots

This was my third photoshoot at Orchard. I’ve shot a few friends there, done my first maternity shoot and a birthday shoot. I got some great images!

John and his wife are great host as usual! It’s a nice place to shoot at!

John is easily available if help is needed.

I do recommend this studio if you’re wanting to get some studio work done.

This was my first time working with John but I've visited Orchard Studio before. He was lovely and his wife was so sweet and welcoming. The studio was clean as usual with drinks to hand. Prior to the shoot John's comms were great and I knew exactly what he wanted to shoot. The photos turned out lovely and I couldn't fault the day. When you really can connect with a photographer and have beautiful conversations, it makes the experience even better. John is kind, honest, and respectful. He knows what he's doing in the studio and I wish him so much success.

I'll be back to work with him next month, and also have two Christmas themed group shoots there next month.

Highly recommend.

Just had my first visit to Orchard studio and I would highly recommend it to all

John and his wife were very welcoming and friendly upon my arrival, I had to call John as I had got lost on the way and he made it nice and simple to find the studio in time for my shoot.

The studio itself is well equipped and a lovely space to work from, with studio space, changing areas, a kitchen, a shower room and we even did a few crazy shots out in the garden while it rained.

John was on hand in his office the entire shoot and I felt really comfortable throughout.

Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back into the studio 😊

John was friendly, easy going and we had a lovely chat whilst we shot.
