Olivia is not that long in the modelling business maybe but she is quite known in continental Europe and put a lot of time and effort to her modelling skills. We contacted each other long time ago and finally had the chance to shoot together.

The planning phase was pleasant, we both showed interest in moving things around to make this date work. We were both quite busy so squeezing the day in between was the only option. I am glad we did it!

Olivia is responsive, open and personable during planning. We already had a phone call before which is a great sign.

I had the pleasure to host Olivia for a night and it was rather pleasant. We retreated early for the possible early shoot, depending on the weather.

We started very early and reached the western Algarve on a low tide, moody sky, mild winds and temperature. Perfect for moody shots. The voyage there was a bit bumpy to say the least, I leave it at that. But the moment we reached the beach, we were in a good mood with immediate inspiration and enthusiasm.

Olivia knows very well how to bend and pose to reach whatever she wants from that pose. She is not afraid of rocks, sand or whatever obstacle (except aggressive waves) and is willing to keep the pose for reframing and changing the exposure.

She also came with her own tripod and a little polaroid camera (bigger than my mirrorless). I had the pleasure to witness her self shoots and her point of view. It was refreshing. She can be directed easily and knows how to flow perfectly.

4 hours and 2 beaches later, we had a great shoot behind with great experience, fresh air, new ideas and memorable images.

I wish to shoot again and the very best to Olivia.

PS: Ask her when she wakes up normally and deduce or add in 45 minute periods to have a pleasant morning mood. When woken up in her deep sleep, another Olivia might wake up...
