Mervyn

HI. I'm Mervyn, family man, married in '85, three grown up kids (still at home) and my best friend is my camera, and has been since I borrowed my dads box brownie when I myself was a kid and helping him develop his b&w in mums kitchen. Most of my photography is of people like weddings and events such as The Goth w/end in Whitby or a 40s w/end closer to home in N.E Wales. Very often I hire a local hall for the evening, turn it into a studio and ask a volunteer to be a model for a couple of hours or even go to someone elses "studio" and photograph semi pros when they do all the posing and you don't have to direct at all. Whichever challenge I set my self up for, it's not surprising how often I come home with some fantastic images. Now that Britain is becoming a safer place to live, I can't wait to get back to normal
