Magnificent Makeup

I've worked at this studio many times now. It's perfect for me as it's not far from where I live. It's in a nice quiet village and has everything you need.

The studio is quite large, has a dressing room and toilet. It has everything you could want and need. It has a small kitchen area and fridge & hot or cold drinks are constantly offered.

The only downside is, there are a few stairs to the studio. It's never been an issue even with a large kit as Jo and Kev are always quick to offer to carry my kit. As I'm always dropped off and picked up though, my husband and teenage son always do that for me.

I accidentally left my inhaler there, within 10 minutes of leaving, I had a text message from Jo to let me know. She was obviously concerned and happy to wait for me to go back but as I had another, it wasn't a concern. The next time I went, my inhaler was handed to me, it had been put in a clear bag and in the drawer for me.

I would highly recommend the studio to anyone wanting a quiet but large space, where the owners are genuinely interested in those renting the studio and are keen to make sure everyone is comfortable and they are there to lend a hand if needed. I know for sure, I will be back.

Jo, Kev & I had been planning this shoot for way too long, and at last we got the job done with the help of Tanya Fitness. An epic day spent in the studio.

The studio is great, spacious, comfortable, plenty of natural or artificial light available, lots of props, access is good and it's also quite private.

I'd definitely shoot here again as either a model or a tog.

I worked at Jo and Kevs studio with Matt for the first time last Saturday. Situated in a lovely quiet village, which is very easy to reach and with easy parking.

The studio is airy, has a great space and props, makeup/wardrobe room and toilet all contained. Its warm and really clean :) Everything you need and more.

A great shoot over five hours was had. Jo and Kev are really friendly and professional. I cant recommend them or the studio highly enough.

Look forward to shooting there again x

I had my second shoot at the old chapel on Sunday! The studio space is great with everything you need, changing room and facilities. Thd owners are really friendly and welcoming..always offering to make you a hot drink or checking whether you're warm enough :D Thank you guys I'll be back again, Claire Topaz

Did my first shoot there with Simone Huntley & Victoria Summers. From the studio side of the shoot, everything went so smoothly. When we changed sets Jo & Kev were there to provide help needed.

Love the Studio and would thoroughly recommend it.

I had my first shoot at Jo and Kev's lovely studio in Newent and what a treat it was! They are an absolute pleasure to work with! We get on so well and have lots of fun during our shoots, Jo and Kev are excellent photographers and they have great structure to their shoots. My first shoot at this studio.Jo and Kev are very friendly and they are happy to help and advise as required. Tea, coffee and soft drinks are plentiful and there are plenty of props large and small in the intersting and versatile space which is immaculately clean and well organised.

Plenty of lighting and modifiers, triggers with fresh batteries (always a plus) and a changing room made the evening fly by - I would happily work there again and look forward to when I do.

Used The Old Chapel Studio for a shoot for the first time this week. Jo and Kev were most welcoming and the studio was nicely warmed and set up as I'd requested when the model and I arrived. They could not have been more helpful and provided tea on demand as well as offering the use of props as needed. The studio is very well equipped with lighting units and backgrounds and was clean and tidy. I would heartily recommend The Old Chapel Studio to any photographer wishing to shoot in the Gloucester area.

This was my first time shooting with Jo and Kev at their amazing studio and was such a fun-filled shoot. Both are professional with bubbly personalities and keen eye for creative detail.

I felt very at ease throughout the duration of the shoot and was well cared for (dressing gown and coffee!)

Preshoot comms were faultless and I was well informed with details of what they wanted to achieve for the shoot but also given opportunities for my own input.

Cannot recommend them both enough!

Had my first shoot at The Old Chapel Studio, and had a very enjoyable afternoon working there with Jo & Kev. The studio is bright and open, with a separate space to do make up and get changed. Had a fab time working there and would highly recommend :)

I can't recommend this studio enough. A Beautiful chapel with plenty of character. Fully equipped with high tech equipment and excellent facilities for model's photographers and Mua/stylist with plenty of work space. Hope to work work here again in 2016

Beautiful natural light to work with aswell as studio lighting.

Jo and Kev were both very friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed, nothing was too much trouble.

Had a superb shoot at The Old Chapel, the room was pre-prepared exactly as requested, nice and clean and Jo and Kev had warmed the space as well !! they were both ultra helpful when asked , The feature wall is excellent and we made good use of it.

I had a great session today at The Old Chapel Studio. It was a late booking as the weather looked bad for the outdoor location session planned. Jo and Kev were great and extremely helpful. They have a good range of kit in the studio and the lighting is great, both natural and flash.

Had my first shoot at The Old Chapel Studio and have to say I love it! It's got great natural light but on the second floor it is very private. It has lots of room, tea/coffee making facilities, it's warm and has a loo which is a huge bonus. It also has a room that can be used as an office, changing room or storage. It's absolutely perfect! Looking forward to working there again tomorrow.

I had a great shoot today with Arabella at the Old Chapel Studio in Newent.

The studio had everything you could wish for in a studio. Lights, props and plenty of natural light.

The owners, Jo and Kevin, were very warm and friendly and extremely accommodating.

I would definitely use this studio again. Wonderful.
