Hello, there my name is Lara and welcome to my page first I just want to say thanks for stopping by and checking out my profile it's appreciated.

I love what I do and always strive for every shoot to be the best that it can be. I'm always learning and I love getting to create art with brilliant people I fell headfirst in love with photography as soon as I got my hands on a film camera for the first time and have been head over heels in love with it ever since then.

I am a female photographer based in Wrexhaml who has been taking photographs for 16 years now and six of those years have been featuring work here on the purple port. I am here to create art and collaborate to me it is all about having fun making great photos and always about teamwork. I'm particularly enjoying creating fashion photography on location at the moment due to covid 19 where hygiene and ppe will be worn with appropriate measures in place at the moment as its full of such creative possibilities. And i am happy to work on a TFP basis and shoot most styles of image. I ask for my travel to be covered as I do not want to be out of pocket which I think is fair with my years of experience this is not negotiable. i also reserve the right to refuse to go ahead with a shoot if you have a certain amount of no-show references.

I don't shoot paid sets unless I get half of the earnings as it makes no sense to me to do that business-wise. I do have a day job in a publishing company where I do have a women's project which will become a book and an exhibition so looking for as many women as possible to be involved in that but during the crisis are presently working from home but I am fairly flexible in regards to shooting safety and availability.

I never stop learning and I love what  I do and I hope that comes through in the photographs that I take.

I am a 32 year old creative with over 15 years of experience in photography and I'm always willing to learn about the craft and expand my portfolio through collaboration with other creatives despite being a semi-professional I'm aware that there are always things to learn and ideas to try.

I am always willing to improve my photography and collaborate and am also willing to travel reasonable distances to shoot too. If anyone wants to add portfolio images I'm the photographer for you so do not be shy to message me if you have an idea that you think is new and exciting.

 

 I am inspired by all manner of things to me if a photograph captures your personality then I have done my job as a photographer and books and photography that captures my imagination. I love capturing unique, fun images that capture people's personality. To me everyone is beautiful and its work hard plays hard during a photoshoot and love to build a rapport with whoever I work with.

 

I'm always open to people's ideas and always trying to improve myself collab is the key so if I can do something to make your shoot comfortable I will not hesitate to do so. If you are looking at building up a portfolio then I'm the photographer for you.

 

I am willing to work for pay or work on a TFP/basis however if we work on a trade basis or its only fans set i ask for payment otherwise it is of no benefit for me to do so. there will be a set amount of images agreed to for both parties as my time and effort and travel costs are factored into any collab that I do if it's on this basis, however, do not be deterred to ask me to shoot this way if you have an idea. I'm always willing to give ideas a whirl especially if it's a mutual collab. I also have access to a studio space for work [url removed] always happy to work with new models too. In regards to cancellations I understand that life is unpredictable things happen however I would appreciate notice if possible.

I've always enjoyed indulging in photography whether I'm inspired by a photo I've seen and worked with other creatives and I have no problem with someone coming along as long as I'm notified in plenty of time. I have access to my own studio space and this will be available when safety allows

Experience wise I have studied photography in college and worked in a studio before with my father who was a professional photographer and pride myself on getting unique images at the moment I am focusing on building up my portfolio using natural light and locations however I do have a range of equipment for outdoor shoots and indoor shots and a knowledge of editing also. My new focus for the rest of the year is more studio work to build experience after an absence from it.
