I had the good fortune of meeting Phil at a networking event, held at the Boilerworks in Stoke on Trent. Not sure if he came, expecting to model, as it had been some considerable time since he last visited, but I’m so pleased he was more than happy to.

Phil is a seasoned professional, something which shows in his confidence and the fluidity of his posing. More than happy to recommend Phil to any photographer, novice or experienced.

This was the second time Phil has joined us at JFYP Studio, both times working will ElleJ on our "Recreating Vettriano" workshops. Phil and Elle work so well together and were excellent at interpreting the look we were trying to create. It has really been a pleasure working with Phil and I can honestly say that he does show a genuine interest in trying to capture that image and style that you are trying to achieve.

A second workshop featuring Elle J and Phil Bruce helping us recreate the Jack Vettriano look. Phil is a great partner to Elle J and made it easy to get the shots needed to show the JV look. Phil and myself were booked on another group shoot of "Recreating Vettranio" and I am so pleased we were booked together again. Phil and I work really well together as a duo and it really shows on camera. Pre shoot comms are always great and during the shoot we pose well together and move freely. Elle J and Phil Bruce came for the first of our "Recreating Vettriano" Workshops at the studio. This is to pay tribute to Vettriano with poses and lighting that can be edited to have that Jack Vettriano look. To do that you need great models - tick - Elle J and Phil were great. They looked the part bringing a wardrobe that complimented the tone and style and elegance being looked for. They took direction well and gave all the photographers attending what they were after, and contributed a few suggestions of their own. This sell out workshop will likely happen again and we shall no doubt be using Elle J and Phil for that.

Phil had a great look, great clothes and easy to get along with! Recommended!

Phil teamed up with ElleJ today to join us at the studio for our workshop "Recreating Vettriano", an idea that came out of an earlier shoot with Elle. Once we decided that we would go ahead with the idea Phil was an obvious choice for the male model. Not only an excellent model in his own right, I knew how well Phil and Elle work together and I was not disappointed with my choice. For this type of shoot you need models who can interpret the idea you have and Phil did this perfectly. The whole day was a complete success and much of that has to be down the models. I would highly recommend Phil if you're looking for a male model.

What can I say that I haven’t already said about this awesome guy? We have worked together many times now and every time is such great fun. He is polite, funny and a gentleman especially when working closely together. It’s important to have trust in your partner when working in a duo and Phil ticks this box for me.
