I had the opportunity to work with Leigh and Zena today at their brilliant studio in Reading and WOW! what can I say! What an absolute pleasure it was!

They was patient, respectful and made me feel so at ease and not forgetting very creative! Leigh and Zena constantly made sure I was comfortable and happy with what I was shooting and gave just the right amount of direction.

Very chatty and friendly I felt I bonded with them almost instantaneously and can't wait to work with them again on a workshop.

Highly recommended to all

I had wanted to do a workshop with Leigh for ages but the experience far outstripped my expectations. As this was my first time working with a nude model I had a few pre-shoot nerves, however these were quickly quelled with Leigh and Zena’s warm welcome, attitude and expert guidance. Leigh has vast knowledge of photography and not only is he a mine of information but is a great at explaining the art.

In all we did three sets with Roxy with the final more risqué one after a fantastic lunch whipped up by Zena.

An amazing experience and well worth doing. I would highly recommend them.

I have just returned from a workshop with Leigh and Roxy Mendez - what a superb day! It truly flew by far too quickly. A lot of previous knowledge was consolidated and I also learnt new techniques and ideas. I can thoroughly recommend Leigh's workshops.

One and only studio that I work in the UK! And I will always be happy to shoot with whenever I'm back in the country. Professionalism that matches wonderful personality is so rare nowadays. Truly brilliant people to work with, every time, every day is 100% professional, well organised, smooth, new ideas, fantastic results and enjoyable time! The only one studio that actually cares to deliver quality to the clients and looks after models at the highest standards. Can't recommend highly enough this studio/tuition to all photographers and models to work with!

I have had the pleasure to be tutored by Leigh several times and without a shadow of doubt it’s one of the best things I have ever done, EVER!

Leigh and Zena are so nice to be around. What an absolute dream it was!

Leigh is one of the most patient, knowledgeable and trust worthy people I have met. So much so he has given me the confidence to carry out any type of shoot. Even if I do run away with myself a lot. “I want to run before I can walk” comes to mind.

It’s also apparent that once you’ve been to his workshops you can see on PurplePort who else has been tortured by the master. As their shots and style are amazing, not to mention the Perkins style leg triangle that’s a giveaway. ‘You must patient it Mr Perkins’

I will be revisiting Nudes Exposed but only once I have given it a fair old blast on my own. Can’t wait to work with them again on a workshop or maybe I’ll ask the Mrs to go one of Leighs boudoir photography for private clients shoots, who knows!

I had a fantastic workshop with Leigh, ably supported by our model for the day Roxy Mendez who was great.

The workshop was really well organised and very well structured and the venue and the studio were very good.

As someone new to studio photography, Leigh really helped me understand the basics and then helped to guide me, giving both ideas and suggestions, and this helped me to relax and enjoy the photography and I was really pleased with both what I learn't and the pictures I was able to take with Leigh's help.

The workshop has given me the confidence and the desire to really get involved in studio photography.

I would strongly recommend Leigh's workshops to all and I certainly hope to come back again and learn more.

Had my second shoot with Leigh and it was as brilliant as expected!

Leigh is extremely professional and easy-going. The day always goes so quickly!

The results are always fantastic and both make you feel at home from the moment you walk in!

I certainly recommend Leigh to anyone wishing to work with him (Photographer/Model) or anyone thinking of doing a course. Very, very thorough & helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble.

Can't wait to come back in March and hopefully will become a regular model here.

Had my first Tutor workshop with Leigh at his studio yesterday working with Tina Kay. The whole day was structured very well, with opportunity to ask Leigh questions as we went through the shoot as well as lots of extremely useful guidance, from the camera, exposure,lighting ,posing the model and post production tips on PS. It was also great to be able to borrow a prime 85mmm lens to take some of the shots !!

if you are looking to really enhance your knowledge and skill across these areas, I would highly recommend you try Leigh's workshops - which with only two photographers gives you plenty of tutor time.

Lunch was great as well :-)

I look forwards to another opportunity to learn from you Leigh.

The day was enjoyable and very informative, Leigh sorting out camera issues for his students, a problem with my camera to be more precise.. he gave his verdicts on the photos taken & then gave the info to correct if required ... Natalia Forrest was pleasant & delightful to work with, also showing an interest in the photos, with comments regarding the shots taken. I now have a better understanding of the use of lighting ... still need a few more sessions, so hope to be welcome back .... Leigh & Zena also did a nice spread of food for lunch, with biscuits & drinks through the day.

I had a very enjoyable and informative day's tutorial session with Leigh and Natalia Forrest. Leigh is very friendly and patient, sorting out camera issues for inexperienced studio users, taking demonstration pictures and tactfully critiquing the student's shots. I certainly came away with some different ideas on how to use lighting and will want to return for another session. Oh, and I shouldn't forget to mention the abundance of sandwiches and chocolate biscuits!

Hello Leigh - thanks for running a cool one to one day workshop with the lovely and versatile Bex White. It's a well-structured day that shows how a clever photographer can use a single studio for multiple sets. Great tips on composition, posing, direction, useful post-processing tips and actions and a professional set of notes make for a thorough day's tuition. And the spare sammies were useful when I got stuck in a traffic jam later! -- Richard ;-)

I had a great day yesterday at a 1 to 1 workshop with Natalia Forrest and Leigh at his studio. Leigh has a great setup in his studio and his approach of explaining the set and lighting taking a few shots to demonstrate, followed by you shooting and critiquing your images straight away really works. I learned so much and have some beautiful images to show for it. I certainly want to do a follow up day with Leigh after I have gained more experience.

I am so glad I got invited back to Nudes exposed for a one to one session as I love working with Leigh and Zena.

They are fab hosts, have a great studio and are lovely people. The one to one session was ran so well, informative and was very well organised.

I was looked after and felt relaxed the whole time I was there.

I can't wait for my next session there. Very highly recommended!

I had a great day today with Leigh and our model for the day Bex White.

The whole setup and approach was so professional yet accessible with Leigh taking us through each set, explaining the lighting as it was set up and moving it around to show the impact of different positions.

The approach of getting a setting and him taking a couple of pictures to show how he'd approach it and then review straight away on the computer in the studio so we could easily understand the effects he was showing us before we had a go ourselves. After we'd done the sets that had been planned he showed us how he processes a picture in Photoshop which was a great help in understanding how a picture can be enhanced should you want or need to.

The tuition was excellent as was the buffet lunch, the jokes were around my level (fairly awful) and the model he'd chosen for the day was perfect. I'll be back in a couple of weeks for another session to see how much I've retained and what new things I can pick up:)

I have been working with Leigh twice this year: for commercial shoot and for the workshop and had an absolute pleasure both times!

Leigh is a great photographer, very experienced, professional, with great communication, well organised, respectful to models at all the times, clear and creative ideas but the most important thing he has a genuine passion in photography and creating an art and willing to share that with others! He has a wonderful personality to match, is fantastic host that looks after models and his clients at the highest standards. Enjoyable and productive shoots!

His studio is very comfortable to work from, warm, clean, well equipped and I can't recommend highly enough everyone to work with!

I tasted the “Nudes Exposed” experience today and am happy to say that what was promised was what was delivered. Check this out: expert tuition, a well-designed and practical studio, a professional and seemingly-tireless model and training delivered at a pace to suit the attendees.

Throw in transport to and from the station and a buffet lunch which more than satisfied the inner man – and it all adds up to happy photographers.

The format – a maximum of two photographers – is ideal; plenty of no-pressure shooting time, and opportunities to go off-piste to explore and experiment.

Thanks Leigh, Zena and Natalia for this first-rate experience. ****** highly recommended.

I had the great pleasure of spending 2 days modelling for one of Leigh's fantastic one to one workshops. If you are interested in developing your lighting skills with the help of an extremely skilled photographer and master of lighting you really must consider booking one of these brilliant workshops. You will take home both some amazing new images and skills that will last a lifetime. The studio is very well equipped with a range of diverse sets available.

Leigh is a pleasure to work with, and I very much look forward to working with him again in the future. Thanks Leigh for a wonderful couple of days :)
