If you have the opportunity to follow one of Arjan's workshops: don't hesitate to do so. I participated in his coastal Wadden workshop, which is incredible value for money, considering that it included a beautiful boat trip, a few hours of art nude model photography course in incredibly open landscape, and fish & chips in fine company! It was his 33rd time organising this workshop and his experience showed. We set off by boat with Arjan, our model and five photographer participants in gorgeous weather and an even better atmosphere. The mood was relaxed, open, supportive and productive, a wonderful experience!

I met Arjan about a year ago, for a shoot in the Algarve. We met again recently for our second shoot, in two beautiful locations. The light was amazing and Arjan always knows how to capture it perfectly. It is easy to communicate with Arjan, he is a friendly and professional photographer and knows exactly what he wants to capture. I absolutely loved this shoot! Gabriella the Good Fella

I had the opportunity to shoot with Arjan a few days ago, in the Algarve. We went to an abandoned building and used the beautiful sunlight. Thank you hurricane Lesley for beeing so cool and waiting for our shoot to be over! And thank you so much Arjan, for the amazing shoot and pictures! I went with Roswell and Arjan Groot to Iceland beginning of August.

Roswell is a fine model with lots of inspiraion and creativity.

Arjan organised the trip and Made sure we had Some Fantastic highlights. The placets we stayer were fine. Everything went as it should be.

We have been working around in some spectacular locations in a variety of conditions. In spite of sometimes uncomfortable conditions, Roswell’s enthusiam was heart warming.

We made a lot of fantastic images and Arjan and Roswell were great company.

Working with people you don’t know for a week can often be a challenge but the shoots went so smoothly and we were all so inspired that the time absolutely flew by.

Arjan booked me for a week in Iceland, working around some spectacular locations in a variety of conditions. I could not recommend him any more highly!!

He was conscious of my safety and comfort at all times, made sure I was very well fed and had a safe place to sleep, produced fantastic images and was simply great company.

Roswell Ivory

Arjan is a joy to work with! He and a fellow photographer booked me for a bendy art-nude shoot in a lovely warm studio, made sure I was well supplied with tea and coffee (and little dutch spiced cookies) and allowed me warm-up time so I could achieve the poses we had in mind. :) We had some inspiration pictures to work from and then improvise/freestyle, and I was delighted with the images in the back of the camera. Recommended 100% and hope to work together again.

Arjan booked me to shoot with him and another photographer at his studio whilst I was touring in the Netherlands. His pre-shoot comms were perfect, he let me know exactly what he was after and we agreed everything with no trouble. On the day he met me at the station as agreed and from the start was really kind and professional to work with. His studio is great, with perfect height and safe rigging to shoot aerial silks, and well equipped with backdrops and lighting - and coffee :D - and nice and warm even though it is a large room. He was a total pleasure to shoot with, can't fault him in any way, he's a star :) Totally recommended to other models, and I would be very glad to work with him again when I return to the Netherlands :)

Had a brillant shoot with Arjan whist on tour in Amsterdam . He arranged pick up for me and there was clear and precise communication throughout. The shoot was very relaxed and easy going , plenty of breaks were provided . Arjan was very respectful . He was also very patient with me when we shot the box which was new to me so gave me sometime to ease into it .We got through plenty of sets and a variety of looks . Had a great time and it was a fun shoot . Thank you Jessica x
