I shoot location fashion and portrait. The photographers whose work I most admire are Helmut Newton, Bob Richardson, Lartigue and Ellen von Unswerth, and the greatest model ever was Kate Moss. I'm also influenced by the look of French New Wave cinema, 50s and 60s photojournalism, and celebrity photographs of people like James Dean, Marlon Brando, The Factory crew and Bob Dylan from that period.

Unless I'm asked to do something different, I shoot a tightly framed modern fashion style that's designed for portfolios and agency main boards. For trade shoots I usually put together the best 30 or so images from the shoot and let the model choose 6 for me to retouch to portfolio standard. And I deliver my retouches within two weeks - not months - of the model choosing them.

I'm equally interested in shooting with male and female models. I'm especially interested in working with models who are serious about improving their posing and/or getting signed by an agency - if you're in this category I'll do everything I reasonably can to help, like shooting with a wifi enabled camera for fast image review on a tablet or laptop, and providing contact sheets that let you review every image in the shoot.
