Hi, my name is Jørgen Storeng and I’m a photographer and photoshop editor. I work part time as a photographer, beside this I develop apps and work creative design. I started taking photos in the late 80’s, and began using Photoshop in 1993.
For the last 15 years I’ve been busy developing my own photo concept called Nordic Dark.
Nordic Dark is a photographic concept that is distinctively characterized by its dramatic and cinematic often a black-and-white style. The images will always carry the underlying tone influenced by the model's personal and creative expression.
Nordic Dark consists of Ingvild Storeng, a trained professional makeup artist, and photographer Jørgen Storeng.
I’m based in Kristiansund on the northwest coast of Norway but frequently travel across Norway and the rest of the world to capture photographs.
I’m always on the lookout for models who are interested in joining our (Nordic Dark) ideas or have their own exciting concepts to explore.
