What a shoot! :D

Phil responded to my casting call since I found myself coming to the Shrewsbury area for another booking - it was our first time working together/first ever correspondence but he was a real star with communications and we had our shoot booked in/date confirmed in no time which helped me because I advertised relatively late having only just returned from another tour/trip. We planned a location shoot since Phil had some really nice places literally around the corner from his house, and despite the day starting out looking rather grey: the sun came out for us and we had a genuine blast creating some beautiful work amid epic style ranges. :D How awesome is this guy with natural light? It was changing more dramatically than a chameleon but Phil just managed it effortlessly!

The beginning of the shoot started out quite eventful actually after a mistaken turn-in with my car (I picked Phil up as there was no point at all travelling a few yards with two cars) subsequently ending up stuck in a blind ditch! Phil swiftly shot off to get help and came back with a farmer neighbour who was gladly able to rescue the situation and we were on our way again. :D How else better to gel than when you have to quickly think like the A-team to revive a tricky situation! Phil was really helpful and cool throughout which was needed to be honest because I was genuinely worried that we weren't getting out of this one, all was fine in the end and we parked up to start making pretty pictures.

We covered mostly fashion, beauty and portraiture which I really enjoy doing on location because it does add character to a shot when you have somewhere picturesque to work. Furthermore the sun makes an exquisite light for beauty images, when it's just right my eyes do insane colour-changing things but when you're as pale as I am it can keep a photographer on their toes to not accidentally over-expose the human reflector standing before them... This is where Phil was just a pure genius, he controlled every last subtle change the sun was doing! And it changed a lot being one of those days! As we reviewed the back of the camera, it was really joyful to see how beautifully the results were coming out. Phil is a really encouraging person to work with too and welcomes the input of the models no-end so ensure you work through the shoot with the best levels of productivity you can possibly give. Teamwork always winds the best results, every time! He's got a cracking eye for angles and composition too so I knew that every extra mile I was pushing to make a crazy pose, Phil was doing it justice by being active enough to get different perspectives and do the moment the best justice.

Totally professional, polite and well-mannered not to mention great to be around/positive minded and up for plenty of chatting mid-shoot which always is a good ice-breaker on a first shoot. It goes without saying that I certainly look forward to our second shoot, and hopefully more thereafter! The time went by really quick once we got into the shoot. :)

I had the pleasure of shooting with Phil for the second time yesterday! This time a duo shoot with Sinopa Rin at the Natural Light Spaces. Phil got some really beautiful shots, and we got through an impressive number of sets without rushing. Phil is always courteous, his comms are good and his work is lovely. I would love to work with him again, a very high recommendation from me.

I worked with Phil recently at the Natural Light Spaces on a duo with Heather May Corvid. Pre-comms were excellent and we discussed some ideas, and on the day Phil arrived with lots of enthusiasm. I found him to be kind, patient and professional, and the images I've seen so far reflect what a lovely afternoon it was. Phil booked me on my recent West Midlands tour. He kindly collected me and dropped me back at the train station.

Phil's pre-shoot communications were great so I was able to pack accordingly for our shoot.

We shot at a beautiful forest location and Phil had plenty of ideas as to what he wanted to achieve photographically.

I found Phil to be polite, friendly, professional and great company.

Definitely recommended and I can't wait to see what we achieved during our time together. :D

I shot with Phil today and it was fantastic!

We covered some alternative fashion themes at Sandon studios and quite a different mix to planned due to our creativity and the lovely studio!

I decided to do some implied topless in the garden with nature covering me which was a new thing for me and Phil to shoot, we really enjoyed the creativity of it and I was also in lingerie in nature at 10 degrees or under but the photos and the experience was very worth it!

I hope to shoot with him again :)

An absolute joy to work with! Phil turned up on time, was very amiable and so easy to get on with. His respect to the model is outstanding. We had a good laugh on the way to the shoot and he'd helpfully brought an outfit for the broken doll shoot we were capturing. He inspired me to get the perfect look for the shot and I think we got it bang on! It was nice and laid back so no stress or pressure which was really nice. He checked I was comfortable and happy and we got shooting. He gave some direction but could see that I was confident doing my own poses so pretty much left me to it. Thoroughly enjoyed the shoot and the edits I've received are phenomenal! So impressed! Highly recommended! Thanks so much Phil! Hope to work again soon x

Phil was lovely, made me feel very at ease, allowed me to do the shots I wanted and made sure I was happy with each image he shot. He was extremely patient with me, and held good conversation throughout the whole few hours we were together. Even had a giggle now and again. Thank you Phil, hope to work with you again very soon! I had a fabulous shoot today with Phil at Hallow road station shooting some vintage fashion. Pre-communication was great and I knew what I needed to bring with me. Phil is a very nice and friendly guy who is easy to get on with and knows what he is doing. I loved the Autumn colours we got to shoot and the time flew by. Over all I had a great time, I can't wait to see the images and work again in the future. Highly recommend :)

Phil is such a lovely person to work with! He's extremely laid back, and very talented at what he does! We worked through some 1930s1930s style shots as well as some boudoir.

My second shoot with Phil, this time at a studio group event with Angel and Artemis Fauna at Sandon Studio. I really enjoyed working with him again, and found his easy-going and polite attitude really enhanced the shoot. Phil worked really well with his shooting partner, helpfully assisting and using the opportunity to shoot different image styles within the sets we were using.

As a model Phil makes you feel relaxed and involved in the shoot, asking for your input as well as making his own suggestions. He has a good sense of humour which enhances the shoot and means he gets the best out of his models.

I really enjoyed working with Phil, as did the other girls and look forward to seeing more of his images. I hope to have the pleasure of working with him again soon, and fully recommend him to models, photographers and other creatives.

I worked with Phil for the second time last week and had another lovely day.

Phil is a brilliant photographer with a beautiful style, and I still can't believe he's relatively new to model photography. I always love the images he's kind enough to share with me!

Phil is friendly and relaxed which makes for a lovely afternoon shooting with him. All in all he's a lovely guy :D
