I started my photography journey in 2009 when I bought my first DSLR, I had used film camera's before then when I was a teenager but lost interested. When I bought my first camera I would shoot mainly Motorsport , wildlife or landscapes with some successes.
Fast forward to May 2015 when I started my first digital photography course to help me get more out of my camera, I didn't expect to get much out of it but had heard good reviews. Well it completely changed my perspective on photography and has ignited a real passion in me and now spend most of my time thinking about or taking pictures. I then took the intermediate course where we spent several session learning portraits and now have another genre that I enjoy shooting.
So I am now slowly building my portfolio and experience with a view of looking to move into this as a pro amateur if that makes any sense :-).
