Had the pleasure to work with the very lovely Nicola. I highly recommend!!

The pre shoot communications were perfect. We was able to get to know each other quite well before the shoot and we had quite a few ideas that we both wanted to achieve.

Nicola arrived perfectly on time, hair and make up done really nicely. A great range of lingerie.

Nicola is a fantastic model, you could see that straight away. She was able to pose herself and also took direction really well too.

Nicola did the boudoir shoot solo and then we did a couples one with her partner who had never modelled before. He did really well and we all worked together to capture some amazing photos.

This was my first shoot with Nicola and I have to say, for a new model, she coped extremely well. A very good start indeed.

I was introduced to Nicola Lia Marie (L-Marie on PP) and asked if I would do a shoot a Boudior set with Nicola and help her start to build a sturdy portfolio for her modelling going forward and pass on some posing tips, instructions as well as introduce her to understanding direction.

This I was happy to do for Lia, as we have worked together on many occasions.

So, first things first.

Communications: These were very good including a number of emails and whatsapp messages. Here we shared a number of 'mood boards' and various images to see what would suit Nicola and the studio we would be shooting in. (We used Thew Studios At The Stables in Dunmow Essex, also on PP)

We agreed on many things so this was very straight forward and Nicola was receptive to my ideas and suggestions as well as sharing her own willingly.

Day of the shoot, we met at the studio and Nicola and Lia were both prompt, on time and raring to get started.

We sat down briefly and discussed the day ahead (6 Hours) and agreed a plan of attack as it were. We started with some very soft and gentle boudoir and moved onto some more revelling implied nude work. Nicola dealt with all of the sets on the day with ease in my opinion. Within about 2 hours Nicola started to 'flow' easier through the shoot and even when under my direction (which she dealt with and understood very quickly) found her now own little touches to add that started to appear and did enhance the images quite splendidly. Well done indeed.

I it is my opinion going forward, that Nicola will continue to grasp all the concepts and requirement of being a very good model. The boudoir style is definitely something I think she will excel at if she continues to progress at this rate and will be most successful!

We wrapped up the whole day with a few portrait and walking full body shoots and Nicola dealt with this in the way she had dealt with everything during the day, with ease.

I would advise the following to photographers who wish to shoot with her.

Keep in mind, this lovely lady is learning her skills at this time. So, make sure your direction is on point and make it as clear as you can what you want from the shoot! Allow her to share her ideas and feelings also.

Nicola most definitely has a sensual side for boudoir in her soul as it were, so she will absorb the moment like a sponge and respond with stunning images if you keep the above in mind.

New photographers: No reason not to shoot with Nicola at all. If anything, if you approach the shoot correctly, with a plan for the day most definitely, I think you will both get so much experience from it.

Do not however, expect Nicola to understand things like lighting and camera settings at this stage. Many models learn a lot about theses things as their career develops, so this lady being so new to the industry is learning this too. But again picking it up very quickly.

Would I recommend? Yes, of course I would. Her attitude, feel for shooting (which is clear from this shoot she does enjoy very much) enthusiasm and willingness to please and put the work in to get the results goes without question.

So, get that email sent to her, request that shoot, because I think in a very short space of time her diary will be full for many weeks in advance.
