References for Nick Stanbra

Worked with Nick for the first time at The Little Chelsea Gallery the other day and it was great, he knew what he wanted to achieve and was very respectful of levels etc. We planned for a whole day shooting and it happened to be a very hot day so it was a challenging day and his camera also had a slight malfunction but he still handled the shoot well and it was great to work with him, would highly recommend and I'm sure we will work together again sometime. Thanks again! :D

I shot with Nick at my apartment yesterday and I really enjoyed my time with him. He showed up early due to train strikes, it was very lovely of him to make sure he arrived in time but unfortunately I wasn’t ready, he was happy to wait patiently until the start of our shoot.

I found him very kind and easy to talk to. He let me choose my outfits throughout the shoot as well as letting me pose freely, but he also would suggest things to perfect a pose if needed, which I really love while working with a photographer.

He’s very skilled with lighting, there were so many times I didn’t know how a shot would work (lighting wise) but when he showed me on the back of the camera it looked incredible.

I recommend him completely and would be happy to work with him again. He’s a lovely person and is very talented at photography. :)

Third shoot with Nick but our first 1-2-1! This time we shot a Helmut Newton theme at The Clocktower a new studio in London, Nick has a great understanding of natural light and we really captured some beautiful images which I think Helmut himself would be pretty proud of!

Nick is someone who I feel respected and comfortable around, and I can 100% recommend him to all :)

I love working with Nick, he is always so lovely and easy to get a long with. This time we shot a duo with myself and the lovely Angel at a beautiful location in Battersea.

Had yet another fantastic shoot with Nick and Carla.

He was super relaxed as always and chatted about some ideas he wanted to do prior to the shoot.

His natural light is always beautifully shot, using the available light and he uses interesting and well thought out compositions.

Nick is always a pleasure to work with and the results of his images are really nice too.

Highly recommended by me as always and can't wait to shoot with him again!

Dr Stairway

Had the opportunity to see nick again as he came to shoot my fiance tann marie. This time he wanted to do some location shots and allowed me to do some pictures as well. It was such a great time. We got some amazing autumnal images of my beautiful girl and Nick is just such a fabulous person to be around. He is friendly, lovely and immediately makes you feel comfortable. I was sad to see him go and really hope he comes back to us for a third shoot. Very highly recommended. One of the most lovely guys I have ever met.

Had what feels like my 10th shoot with Nick at the beautiful Lofthouse in Battersea last week.

We started out with some outdoor autumnal shots which worked beautifully and then utilised the studio as well, using the backdrops and different setups available.

He is such a lovely person and I can easily call him a friend now :) we both feel very relaxed and at ease together, collaborate to create wonderful images.

Another fabulous shoot with nick at Thurston Lodge. He's always so relaxed to work with, coming up with lots of creative ideas throughout the day.

The shots he took were awesome, he made fantastic use of the natural light and all the rook a in the stunning venue. I worked with pippa Doll, and we compliment each other well with poses. Not only is he a talented photographer but a really lovely person too, easy going and considerate of models. I always go home buzzing after his shoots, excited to see the results.
