He had so many ideas and from the first shoot I used all the photos he posted! I also love the ones ive seen from last week.

I got to work with Nick again last week during an event at Sandon Studio. Nick and I got to work together on both days- Saturday as a pair and Sunday 1-2-1.

It was nice to work with Nick again and we got some super images on both days! We chatted a lot too and will hopefully be working at mine at some point in 2017.

Recently had a shoot with Nick Halling on the lower Thames. We created some great images despite the mum and adventures we had to get the right look and use great use of the natural light. All throughout a great shoot. I would definitely work with Nick again, his knowledge and professionalism is flawless. Highly recommend and definitely on my list of photographers to work with in the future.

He travelled to meet me at our location, arriving in advance, and we spent several hours taking pictures in various spots of the town, The shoot was very diverse and enjoyable, and we achieved beautiful photos which he shared with me within a day and without any delay. I had a lovely second shoot with Nick the other day in Colchester. The weather was so warm nd very sunny, but Nick had picked a beautiful park for us to shoot it. Nick is great company and his shoot style is very relaxed. We basically spent four hours chatting and wondering around with some pictures in between. We got some wonderful results and I really enjoyed our shoot together. Thanks Nick for a lovely day.

I have worked with Nick twice this week, once on a group shoot/workshop and then another time 1 to 1 and he is just brilliant!

At the group shoot Nick was running one of the groups and was extremely professional, his knowledge about photography and equipment was second to none. I actually felt like I was also learning a lot by listening to him! He was great with direction and had a keen eye on detail. All in all I think the photographers all walked out with some great shots, thanks to Nick and his direction.

The second shoot was gel lighting. Nick and another photographer had approached me about doing some test shots. I say test shots very lightly as the photo's came out absolutely fantastic! Again, Nick was very professional, made me feel extremely comfortable and was generally very nice company throughout the shoot! 3 hours flew by rather rapidly.

I would recommend Nick to anyone and I really hope to work with him again. Thank you Nick

Ok so where do i start here!!?? I had a message a couple months back asking to do workshop at the loft studio in colchester, apparently, Nick had put my name forward .... blush !! :-) I am so very greatful to him as the whole experience was wonderful. I turned this into a mini tour and as well as Nick being on the workshop he also booked half a day with me before hand. I knew even before meeting him it was going to be a joy to work with him as his good nature came across even by his messages leading up to the shoot. His pre comms were amazing and we discussed ideas styles and locations. When the day arrived Nick was an absolute star. He collected me from my hotel, looked after me, fed and watered me between sets then even after our shoot he carried on looking after me and chauffered me onto the meet and made sure i was ok the whole evening and....even chauffered me back to the hotel after. I couldnt have felt any more looked after! Our shoot itself was amazing, Nick is a total breeze to work with. He knows exactly whats hes after with each shot and with his knowledge on lighting and photography he nailed it. I loved the boc's which is quite rare for me lol and i have even seen some finished results of some gels we did in the studio and they are fab!! I had the best time shooting with Nick and i can put my hand on heart and say he is one of the most genuine kindest guys i have had the pleasure of meeting and working with. I cant rate him enough and would without a shadow of a doubt recommend him to any model who is lucky enough to get the opportunity to work with him. I think we made a pretty good team and i hope to get the opportunity to work with him again in the future.

Nick attended a workshop we were hosting with Vic (Beachview). We found Nick to be really nice guy, with a great passion for his photography. He was very respectful of the studio and equipment and was great at communicating and working with the 2 models in attendance. Would definitely recommend Nick to others and he is welcome back here anytime.

I had the pleasure of meeting Nick last week, in fact twice :) firstly we took off for a countryside adventure, having captured in my opinion stunning images right from the off! Time literally flew by. Nick came prepared with some gorgeous cookies water and juice to, much appreciated! Second shoot was back at my home studio ('MaNix Studio' on here and Facebook) after meeting Nicks lovely wife at their location, great cup of tea I may add! At the studio we worked through some cool fashion and lingerie shots to in a variety of different lighting set ups - I'm really looking forward to seeing Nicks final choice Image, I'm glad it's not me deciding! Fantastic photographer and true gentleman - 100% recommended by me

Finally got to shoot with Nick, after seeing his work progress through the year I jumped at the chance when I heard he wanted to shoot with me. From the off Nick was easy going and made me feel at ease.

He had ideas he wanted to implement and was happy to also shoot my own.
