I remember taking ages to clear a lot of barbecue paraphernalia out of the way so that I could take this series of shots. With less enthusiasm, I later returned it all to its original place. This was absolutely nothing compared to the trouble Artemis had gone to in visualizing and organizing this Romany theme. I was looking for different ways to present the image, soft/hard, saturated/desaturated, etc. and this version more or less just appeared. I thought it looked almost like a Bible scene, although I must
admit that I don't consider myself much of an expert in this area!!!!
I was told that No 30 B was actually the "Wash House," belonging to the Villa we were staying in, although it hadn't been used for that purpose for many years.
