I look for photography projects I can connect with. Sometimes the projects are more about art. Other times it's documentary work, photographing for nonprofits or events. I have traveled to photograph non-profit work in other countries, photographed banquets and meetings, and done corporate headshots.
Aside from the above, I have also work with individuals and families. This has included infant photos, senior pictures, engagements, families, and nudes.
Nude work has involved individuals and couples and is often an environmental portrait style rather than studio work. I want my clients to feel comfortable nude and feel those happens best in their personal environment.
My personality is one that leans toward connecting with the individual rather than just directing someone in front of a lens. I am compassionate for those hurting and have been engaged in projects to do photographs for those who can't afford to pay, primarily immigrant and refuge families. I'm also interested in serving individuals who are terminally ill through my photography.
While my contracted work is digital, I have a strong interest in film photography as well. I see it as a tool that causes me to slow down and be more deliberate. I would like to incorporate it more into the nude photoshoots.
I will certainly consider TFP.
