Professor John is a super friendly man.
John wanted head shots for both portrait purposes ("mug shots" as John called them) and as source images for a painted portrait, of him to join the gallery of his distinguished predecessors of the medical department he heads up.
We agreed a 2-hour shoot plan at Libre Studio in Liverpool.
John brought several changes of outfit. We had a fun time creating a variety of looks with carefully staged lighting, for casual images, fun shots and formal portraits as source material for the painter to be commissioned.
It was a real pleasure to meet a great man, who has done so much for medicine and is a super-nice guy.
