I have now met Neil a number of times when he has come for shoots at Basford Hurst Cottage, so I was thrilled when he booked me for a 1-1 shoot here. All pre comms were great and Neil had lots of ideas for our shoot together!!

On the day of the shoot Neil arrived on time and after a chat and a cuppa we began shooting. Throughout the day we worked through some strong fashion images, some more candid portraits, a beautiful bath set with 1000's of rose petals (which Neil had spent a great deal of time separating!!), played around with wide angles and Neil even got the drone involved towards the end!! Needless to say I had a lot of fun working with Neil and the conversation flowed whilst we captured lots of wicked images!!!!

Time absolutely flew by shooting with Neil and he is completely respectful, kind, has lots of great ideas but also allowed me to pose freely and bring my own thoughts and suggestions to the shoot. I would of course highly reccomend Neil and I very much look forward to seeing him again soon!! Thank you so much for a great shoot Neil!!

So this is my 2nd New Experience Reference for Remote work

Where this gentleman had booked on to our slot that was offered for the day of a duo with keira lavelle.

Neil was polite welcoming and informative over the remote shoot he also had the patience of a saint as I was getting to grips with the mirroring on screen throwing me off at first.

He logged in on time and arrived with a game plan which was presented before hand in pre coms which was excellent as it allowed me to focus on what was needed and the mindset to achieve it.

His first post also highlights how well we did and how superbly he can operate upon a shoot with his direction input and camera skills.

Thank you for a great shoot

I’ve recently had a second shoot with the lovely Neil! This time we shot at light love studio near Preston and Neil was kind enough to both collect and drop me back the station. As always, pre coms were spot on and the time sadly flew by meaning we still had lots of ideas we hadn’t yet touched! I love what we captured on the day, we got through lots of sets in no time at all and I had the best time! Thankyou for another fantastic shoot and I can’t wait to shoot with you again! Highly recommended by me!

Tryst

Recently I had my first shoot with the immensely talented NeilH. We shot at my farmhouse in Cumbria and I was hopeful that it would serve as a good backdrop and offer many shooting options, for his gorgeous painterly/antiquated style. He let me take the reins for part of the shoot and we shot in lowlight, doing dramatic figure studies with a vintage chair - and then he contributed his idea to build an idyllic set using roses and gold flake in the bath. I was in awe of the quality from what I saw on the back of the camera and hope the results on a bigger screen were even better. I look forward to meeting him again in the future for more work, but for now, am just honored to finally be part of his folio. :)

I’ve been an avid admirer of Neil’s work for a while now and I’m chuffed to have finally worked together! 🙌 Neil is super easy to work with, nice and chilled and blimey those photos speak for themselves! We had a great shoot working from my home studio yesterday using a mix of natural light and flash and I loved lol of Neil’s ideas and the fact he allowed my bizarre creative input too! Thankyou so so much for such a great shoot and I can’t wait to work with you again!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Neil came back to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with Nicole Rayner for their '1 Year Basford Anniversary shoot'.

As always all pre comms with Neil were great, everything was well organised and him and Nicole arrived with everything they needed for a fantastic, creative shoot!!

Neil is a pleasure to have around here at Basford, he is easy to talk to, polite, friendly and always completely respectful of our location. We have already seen some images from the shoot and they look fantastic!!

Neil would be welcome back anytime to Basford and we really hope to see him again soon!! Thank you Neil!!

Neil is always welcome at the studio and we look forward to seeing him again! For two main reasons:

1. He’s a kind person and lovely to talk to, gets on well with us and all the models he has shot at the studio!

2. Additionally, he is superb with a camera!! We are always excited to see the images after one of Neil’s shoots!

Neil comes highly recommended by us as a studio, including models that have shot with Neil at our studio!

After a few delays mainly to me taking a time out from the industry for a few months I had my first shoot back with Neil.

I've known Neil for a long time and he is a lovely genuine kind man with a amazing eye and passion for what he does.

This time Neil booked the kiln studio in Stoke and we had a amazing day covering many sets and styles while having fun and a laugh along the way. We ended the day with a wagamama.

Highly recommended by Me and I can't wait to work with Neil again.

Would I recommend Neil? Well I think that’s pretty obvious as I shoot with him so often!! And so very lucky to get to do so!!!

We’ve had many a wonderful shoot, and I probably owe him many more a reference - but what more can I say?! Neil’s a great friend and it’s been amazing to watch his work and enthusiasm develop and grow! I love how much Neil continues to push himself - and continues to learn! He is really bringing unique and brilliant ideas to shoots, with bloody great results that i’m really proud to be a part of!!!

Another wonderful shoot with Neil!

We returned to Two Wei studio but this time using their grounds. We did some classic art nude, some styled fashion and some fab creative drone shots too before ending the shoot under the rain shower!

It’s always lovely working with Neil, he’s very kind, respectful and looks after you very well throughout the shoot.

Great to have Neil shooting here for his first time yesterday with the simply awesome Ivory Flame.

All comms were as they should be and Neil is a thoroughly pleasant person to deal with. Respectful of studio spaces and props available, to the point that once both Neil and Holly had left, it was like they hadn't even shot here.

An absolute joy to work again with Neil, this time a delightful 1:1 shoot at Scorpion Residence.

I really enjoyed the time, Neil is so down to earth, fun and friendly. Thoroughly professional and considerate whilst shooting, the time flew by, we achieved a fab range of images, exploring many interesting options at the venue, with a relaxed, creative atmosphere and pleasant conversation :-)

I also especially loved the different effects Neil was exploring this time, with movement, emotion and blur, really engaging to work on together. Thank you so much Neil! Very happily recommended :-)

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Neil came back to Basford Hurst Cottage yesterday to shoot with Nicole Rayner, Keira Lavelle and Miss C.

It was so great to see Neil again!! He's such a wonderful person with a real passion for photography. Pre comms were great and everything went really smoothly on shoot day.

Neil is so tidy and makes sure to look after the location at all times. He's welcome back anytime and I really hope to see him again soon!!! HIGHLY recommended from us!!!

Neil asked if I would join in with a trio shoot with the gorgeous Nicole Rayner and Keira Lavelle!! Of course I jumped at the opportunity!!!

Neil is amazing!!! He has so many great ideas and this shoot was no exception!!

We shot many great images including some strong sets in the courtyard, including images with motion blur, and, some softer boudoir images.

Neil is a complete professional and an excellent photographer. I'd highly recommend him and hope to see him again soon!! Thank you Neil!!!

Neil and I have worked together countless times now and each shoot is always totally different to the last, even though for the most recent one, we shot out of versatile 2G studios again.

This shoot was more about striking lines and shapes for the first part, before we finished off with some softer headshots.

As ever, the conversation on-set is brilliant and we both have a great time in each other's company. More Neils please!
