Nausica and I organised a studio shoot last week. This was the second time we worked together. It was a great experience, starting with good pre shoot communication with quick replies on questions. She send the right information, MRF etc.

The shoot was in a daylight studio not for from me, we were lucky this was a wonderful Spring morning. Nausica brought the clothing we discussed before. Her modeling is perfect, adding grace to every pose. The shoot was very productive with a lot of great images to edit.

This is what I would call professionalism at its TOP. One of the best in this genre. Much more than being beautiful, but adding so many ideas to the shoot, having fun together, easy going, lovely personality.

The only problem is Nausica is very popular. So I hope she finds time to travel to Amsterdam again.

I have just had the most exciting and incredible 2 days shoot working with the beautiful and amazingly talented Elena. Elena stayed with me in Exeter this week, and every second with her was a real joy! She is so professional and has such a treasure chest of ideas and poses that she can draw from as she flows from one position to another. Elena is art itself. Every image looks like a masterpiece - such is the power and creativity of this immensely likeable young lady.

Here are a few phrases I can add to the above, which came into my head during Elena's stay with me: a teacher, psychologist(!), kind, helpful, interested, insightful, empathetic, resourceful, funny and very amusing, hardworking, attentive, supportive and, all in all, a true delight to be with in every way. I am already looking forward so much to our next shoot together when Elena is in England again. I'm also looking forward very much to acquiring a copy of her first book created with her fellow Italian and friend, the very talented phototographer Roberto Mannini, entitled Intimate.

I've wanted to work with Elena for ages, but it seemed that whenever I was going to be in London she was going to be in another country. This time, however, the planets aligned and I managed to book her (two months in advance - she's very much in demand). So was it worth it, you ask?

Silly question: of course it was. One of the most professional, organised and skilled models you'll find in any country, a master of her craft, and a lovely person to work with too.

Had a great shoot with Nausicaa on Friday. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. She's a very experienced model and as such needs minimal direction and also takes on board the mood of the set-ups very quickly and instinctively. She has a lovely personality and easy to chat to.

I look forward to working with her again and 100% recommended her.

Elena is a wonderful model, a great person and an absolute professional. Pre-shoot communications and organisation were perfection; prompt replies, to the point, quick and easy arrangements for model release and payment, everything you need to know this will be a great shoot. On the day of the shoot Elena arrived on time with everything I had asked for (and more) and she was ready to start shooting very quickly. We shot for almost 4 hours with Elena flying from one great pose to the other and we produced some great images! Working with Elena was a joy and I am looking forward to our next shoot. 100% recommended.

BEST SHOOT EVER!!!

I have been wanting to shoot with NausicaaYami for ages ever since a friend recommended me, I was totally blown away by her portfolio but the thing that caught my attention was her intensity which she projects through the photos.

Pre coms were professional and very organised so I wasn't left wondering. She arrived with all the items I requested and we shot some lovely photos. starting with some gowns and window light and then some art nudes. She's a total rockstar and knows her craft well, perfect model for someone wanting to get some skills shooting nudes but feeling little unsure how to get started, with NausicaaYami you're in good hands as she poses beautifully but very insightful too

I loved shooting with her and love the photos, so many good ones! I cant wait for our next shoot and naturally that's a big recommend from me

Fantastic - what else can I say? Elena is the absolute professional. Comms from the start were great and I knew that someone this organized and responsive was going to be great work with - I was not wrong. Elena is a wonderful model with a fantastic look that knows exactly what to do to get the best out of a shoot. Super easy to work with - really down to earth with a great sense of humour and happy to share ideas and contribute some really helpful input as we worked through our sets. We managed to get some fantastic images on the day and I'm really pleased that we finally managed to schedule some time together. Bring on shoot #2.

Having seen her inspirational work here on PP I bought myself this new book as a Christmas present.

It's a stunningly beautiful book of images of Nausicaa, printed on high quality paper. It is an absolute credit to the model and photographer. Definitely one to keep on the coffee table.

I have been wanting to shoot with Nausicaa Yami for quite some time so it was a delight to be able to work with her at her studio day at Inspire studios. All the pre-shoot communications were excellent and she was ready to shoot when I arrived. We worked a number of different sets during the shoot and Nausicaa was amazing in each. She is able to develop deep emotive looks and beautiful body poses that together create the most amazing pictures. Nausicaa can deliver a huge range of poses that work with the particular set and can respond to back of camera feedback. Nausicaa is hugely talented and a true professional and I hope that I have the chance to shoot with her in the future.

I had the great pleasure of shooting with Elena during her recent studio days at Inspire Studios.

Communication before our shoot was great, Elena being keen to understand my aims for our shoot and showing her professionalism from the outset.

Elena had prepared brilliantly based the moodboards I'd shared beforehand, having all the wardrobe laid out before I'd arrived and showing a real eye for detail in styling, hair and make-up.

Our shoot was relaxed and fun, Elena's posing skills and experience really showing in every set and providing great variation throughout.

I'm very happy with what we created and hope we get to work together again.

This was my second shoot with Elena and this time she came to my flat/studio in Brighton for a full day of shooting. Our first shoot together at The Factory some 4 months earlier had been a revelation and so I was super excited about our second shoot.

I can honestly say that my first shoot with Elena had produced some of my favourite images ever and this second shoot exceeded all expectations by surpassing even thaqt first shoot. The atmospheric and beautiful images that Elena helped me create in the familiar surroundings of my own studio was truly mind blowing. Her ability to create emotion and beauty in her images is second to none. I can't explain why, but her eyes have a depth and also, at times, a curious distance, that infuses the images with a quality which encourages the viewer to create a narrative and I find this very compelling.

I will be editing wonderful images of Elena for months to come but will be arranging another shoot in 2024 for certain.

Not to be missed. A great model which I cannot recommend more highly.

I had the enormous pleasure of my first shoot with Elena towards the end of 2023.

Elena is one of those models with such an iconic look and amazing portfolio you just dream of the chance to shoot with, so when that opportunity came my way I had to jump at the chance to work with her.

It was only a short booking whilst I was staying overnight in central London and sadly I wasn't feeling too well as we discovered when rearranging the furniture that the room had the most awful mouldy carpet and I think exposure to that was what was making me sick.

But Elena was very good about it and we managed to work around the issue.

I wont get into how I dealt with the hotel after though.... you can search for my review of them on Google!

Elena is lovely, very professional and came well prepared with beautiful make-up and hair and a nice selection of wardrobe.

I'll look forward to the next time I get to shoot with her, hopefully in a better location somewhere warm & exotic, so I'll be keeping a close eye on her tour schedule for just that next opportunity!

Finally got to work with Nausicaa yesterday. I had seen her work with other photographers for a long time on various platforms and hoped one day that I would be able to work with her. Thankfully Nausicaa put out a casting stating she had London availability and we worked out a day that worked for both of us.

Nausicaa's comms is up there with the best. Everything is discussed in comms that is planned for the photoshoot so that everyone is on the same page come the day of the photoshoot and everything is handled in a very professional manner. Nausicaa also doesn't take herself too seriously both on and off camera with some funny outtakes and discussions. Makes for a very relaxed photoshoot.

I can highly recommend Nausicaa as a model that if get the chance to work with her you should jump at the chance. Hopefully the first on many photoshoots in the future.

It is hard to know where to start with a reference for Elena. She has so many brilliant references already and all of them great.

I had been wanting to shoot with Elena for some while - ever since I spotted some of her heart-stoppingly beautiful black and white images a few months back. It took a while but we eventually managed to put a 4 hour shoot together at The Factory and what a gem it turned out to be.

We used natural light throughout as The Factory is perfect for this and shot mostly with monochrome in mind as this is Elena's favourite. I was bowled over but just how beautiful Elena is - especially in her natural nude poses - which she has made her speciality. Every image I took that day is a keeper and all of them lend themselves to a range of post processing treaments that allow Elena's simple enigmatic and elegant beauty to shine.

I am still stunned by how good she is and I can't wait to find another opportunity to shoot with Elena again.

Thank you so much for a wonderful shoot.

I look for every opportunity to work with Elena and was fortunate enough to collaborate with her twice this month. The first time was on a full day shoot on the 4th at Hammerwood Park, alternating with photographer Tim Pile between Elena and Beth Kate. This was a marvelous shoot at a unique location for this American photographer. Pre-shoot communication with Elena were on the ball and accommodated a last minute change in meet up plans to avoid possible delays with a rail strike. Of course I already knew Elena is an exceptional beauty and wonderful poser and she did not disappoint. The second collaboration was for 8 hours over 3 days at a Femne Nue retreat in Tuscany. Our surroundings were stunning Tuscan villas, rolling hills and vineyards, and it felt extra special to be working with Elena in her native setting. The highlight of that may have been Elena braving a lily pond to swim amongst the blossoms, but we also got many beautiful captures in a multitude of settings, interior and exterior. Watch my page as I’m eager to work on these. Love working with Elena and am glad there is another shoot planned already on the horizon 1Q24. Highest recommendations.

I had the extreme pleasure of having a shoot with Nausicaa. Her communication throughout our planning and during the shoot was great, so important when planning a shoot from afar. Nausicaa arrived early at the studio and was ready to start shooting on time. She brings great feeling to her poses and range on positioning her fit body. She brought some ideas to the shoot based on a moodboard shared and was very cooperative with using the props I brought to the shoot.

Nausicaa is a very professional model but also a lovely person so a pleasure to be around making the shoot fun and fly by fast, too fast. We created some lovely images and I feel very fortunate to have been able to shoot with her and can’t wait to return home to pick and edit the images although choosing will be hard since she helped create so many great ones.

Can nor recommend her enough and a big thank you Nausicaa. Hope we can shoot again one day.
