References for neil barrie photography

I had an absolutely fantastic home shoot with Neil yesterday! This was our first time working on a one-2-one basis as our first shoot together was on a group event.

It was several years a go when we first shot together so was great to shoot again after all that time. Neil was so incredibly easy to work with, friendly and was open to both sharing ideas for the shoot. Pre shoot comms were great, he arrived promptly and the shoot was extremely productive.

It had been a while since Neil lost shot, however he was incredibly confident and we had a great flow. It was one of those shoots where things just “worked” and we bounced ideas off eachother throughout. The images back off camera looked amazing and I was thrilled with what we managed to capture. The 3 hours absolutely flew by!

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Neil and would highly recommend him to models of all levels of experience.

I hope to shoot with him again at some point :-)

Neil is absolutely lovely! I met him and his wife, and both of them made me feel utterly and completely at ease. Super welcoming and accommodating. Incredibly respectful and not once did I feel uncomfortable in any way what so ever. Great direction working beautifully as a team to get the best possible art made. I had the chance to work with Neil last weekend at Fine & Dandee studio as he booked in on my studio day.

What a lovely guy, very friendly and easy to work with.

Pre comms were great, providing me ideas of what we were going to shoot so i knew what to bring along.

We got through several different changes and the time just flew by, from what i could see the pics looked fab.

Would love to work with Neil again

Had a brilliant first shoot with Neil at Fine and Dandee studio. Neil has a calm and relaxed manner about him which made a nice chilled atmosphere in which to shoot. He was respectul, professional, and I was quickly at ease in his company.

Today I had a one hour shoot with Neil at my studio day at Hook Photographic Studio :) We worked on his white theme and he had bought some great props and outfits for me to model with which really got the ball rolling :)

He had some great reference images too, and we worked together to get the best from each set. He was really creative, gave great direction and has a fabulous taste in shoes!

he was professional, friendly and had such a brilliant concept to work from which I enjoyed

We started off shooting with the theme of "white" which worked well and then moved on to he's pulp fiction photo series which I absolutely loved, we shot a range of funky images for this which Im sure will work great

Had an awesome shoot with Neil a couple of days ago - we have shot a couple of times before at Scarlet Door studio, which were also bloody brilliant shoots, so I knew it would be fun! And it most certainly was.

We shot at his absolutely stunning house on the Thames - so many stunning areas to shoot in, including a conservatory area looking over the river, a beautifully quirky bedroom and the prettiest bathroom with a chandelier! The images looked gorgeous on the back of the camera, was very pleased!

So Neil is great company; chatty, respectful, and creative, I don't think we stopped chatting once. And he is excellent with the camera too! Would highly recommend Neil to all models - cannot wait for next time.

I had a wonderful 1-2-1 session with Neil at Scarletdoor recently. He brought me the most amazing avant garde shoes that he made himself from wood and straps. They were so so cool! As impractical as the shoes were we nailed some high end fashion looks with them and Neil was really kind and considerate checking I was okay and not in too much discomfort. I was happy to push through and get Neil the shots he deserved! A lovely photographer to work with and I’m sure it won’t be the last time.
