Had my second shoot with Mark, he had sent me a long list of inspirational pictures before hand, that we didn't manage to complete due to trying out different ideas as we went along! :) But we got some great images as we did before. Eddie the cat still wants to model too, and is a wonderful character to get involved in the shots! :D

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Mark again earlier this week,what a gentleman! His pre comms were on top form as per usual, he picked me up on time from the station. I feel so comfortable when working with Mark as he a very genuine person, with a fabulous sense of humour, he also has his own model at home, the lovely little Eddie who always has to get in on the action when we're shooting! He's also a great photographer (Mark, not the cat!) to work with he was happy to let me freestyle or give me direction when needed. We got through some fab sets from pretty lingerie in the window, nude boudoir on the bed (Eddie included!), innocent 50's dresses, nudes in front of the fire place (with a real fire), and finishing off with some arty shots in the bath, which was a real pleasure with the heat we've been having! I adore working with Mark as it's always a relaxed shoot, with fabulous cups of tea or a good coffee in the breaks, he has so much to choose from when it come to the wardrobes or bags of props which always adds to the shoot.

I can happily and highly recommend anyone of any level of experience to work with Mark, and hope to work with him again very soon.

I had a most enjoyable boudoir shoot with Mark working from negligee & sheer to tasteful nude, who despite casting for the shoot to take place at his home, very kindly travelled quite some distance from near Hull, to instead shoot with me, at my home. I found Mark to be calm, supportive and encouraging, considerate and always respectful. Despite having never met Mark before, I felt safe and at ease in his presence at all times during our shoot.

Mark's approach to boudoir nude photography is very tasteful and refreshingly "female friendly". For example, Mark brought some very inspiring Fine Art style images to work from today and I was particularly inspired by a lovely low key image of a nude with lovely shadows of some cherry blossoms or a such like plant projected across her by comparison, stark white face and body using directional light.

We then further worked from this idea to do some lovely work with a large bouquet of orchids at my 30s style kidney shaped dressing table which has a 3 way mirror, with the silhouette of the orchids somewhat overlapping my reflection to give some very beautiful and unexpected compositional effects in the resulting images.

I was absolutely chuffed with the results and cannot wait to put some Mark's images up on my port. Mark's work is clearly developing and it is certainly not surprising that he has had some success getting commissions for coffee table books and prints in association with some photographic exhibitions in the US.

I cannot recommend Mark highly enough and am looking very much forward to our next shoot. Thank you Mark :-) x

After nearly two years of trying, we finally got to shoot, and it was well worth the wait! Mark was an absolute pleasure to work with, he picked me up as well as dropping me off at the station, and he makes a cracking cup of tea! I was put straight at ease when I met Mark, he's an absolute gentleman, and I was comfortable throughout the entire shoot. The shoot consisted of vintage lingerie, night dresses, and stockings, it was such a fun shoot, Mark has a wicked sense of humour, it's very hard to be anything but happy when working with Mark. He as also fantastic working with natural light, we got some truly remarkable images today, and I'm ecstatic to see the end results.

Eddie

Today I worked with Eddie The Feline Fatale for the first time, he is an absolute joy. He poses with poise and elegance, with such a strong tail as well!

All in all I couldn't recommend Mark or Eddie any more highly than I do. And I hope to work with them again very soon.

Penny Dreadful

Worked with the wonderful Mark today (and his black cat Eddie! :D) I had a fantastic time, and I am really REALLY pleased with how the images look! He even managed to capture images of part of me that I don't normally like, which is exciting for me! :D I had brought a lot of clothes to try, but ended up shooting in things Mark had ready too. All in all a good day, and would highly recommend! (Plus, you know, kitten kisses are a bonus! :D) X

Mark is such a lovely person with a warm heart. He has great attention to detail when discovering new ideas. Mark also came fully prepared with many props to shoot with. I have some lovely photos and ones that I can add to my portfolio which are different to my others. Thank you again oo and also for the biscuits they were delicious :) x

Had my first shoot with blackcat yesterday and had an absolutely lovely time!

pre shoot communication was great and upon arriving at his house the whole shoot ran very smoothly with a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a home shoot.

I felt very well looked after throughout the shoot, Mark made sure i had everything i need and kept up good communication through out the shoot, allowing me to look at some of the shots and suggest ideas or changes. Images were sent to me to choose from that night and i cannot wait to see the final results

cannot stress enough how much of a lovely guy mark was, really looking forward to working with him again.

Also his cat Ed is the loveliest thing ever!

I did a group shot with Blackcat at Pipewell House - he is an absolute gentleman and took some lovely pictures.

I would recommend to all & would enjoy working with Blackcat again.
