I started photography back in college, admittedly that was many MANY years ago now. I still own the 35mm Chinon CE-5 that I used to complete my City & Guilds, though it rarely sees use these days.
I don't have the most expensive kit, just my trusty Nikon D90 some portable softboxes/strobes and, hopefully a good eye! Though I have just picked up a new Olympus mirrorless, mainly for when I'm out hiking up mountains but I'd like to see what results I can get using it for portraits etc too.
If I had to choose a favourite genre of photography, it would have to be Cosplay. Though anyone viewing my portfolio would probably have guessed that already.
I still consider myself to be a hobbyist, though I have taken a few paid assignments before now but I have a full time day job.
I am able to travel for shoots and have no issues with anyone wishing to bring along a chaperone so long as they inform me of this prior to a shoot (I'm not big on surprises!).
