I returned to the industry having started out in the newspaper industry and then left to do other things, but photography is a passion with me and draws me back all the time.

I want to devote much of my time to the photography of Dark skinned /Asian/ Black models, not exclusively but predominately.

I enjoy location shoots as well as studio work, the funky side of model looks are my favourite, I'm always up for the adventure, enjoy travel and anything new. I am willing to travel and the more challenging the shoot the more fun.
I believe the most important part of a shoot is the fun and interaction between camera and model.

Time for Prints etc

I really enjoy working with newer or less experienced people, MUA, hair stylist designers models in fact the whole team. The main reason being that they bring something special with them, they are un-jaded and very hard working as a rule. That is not to say I won't work with experienced people often they bring knowledge and ideas that develop me, never a bad thing.

However I rarely ask models to do time for prints (I believe very strongly that models should be paid for their time no matter how new, perhaps not the huge fees paid to top models but I know of no other industry that blatantly abuses a workers role as this industry) and I will do time for prints myself if it would bring something to my portfolio.

So if you have an idea other than just trying to update a standard portfolio feel free to contact me. The better the idea the better the chance I will accept TFP.

If you are going to do a TFP shoot with me for your idea you must provide a MUA. They are perhaps the most important person on the set after the model without whom few shoots reach their full potential. A good MUA is worth his/her weight in gold!

Glamour and Nudes

I rarely photograph glamour, or nude not because I am a prude it is simply my passion is for beauty portrait work.

Under 18 year olds

Alas I never work with under 18 year olds mainly because I always pay my models they then become employees and that unlocks a whole raft of troubles with CRB etc and that sort of thing. Sorry but I really cannot be bothered with the potential aggravation. I guess that is what happens when you let the red tops set the political agenda.

Please, please don't add me as a friend unless we have had some sort of contact be it via e-mail or on a shoot or we actually know each other I don't collect random names of people I nether know or an not likely to be working with.

If you have any ideas you want to explore or ideas for a shoot feel free to contact me. The more details I have then the more chance I will take on the project. Especially if it is going to be a fun shoot the more unusual the better.
