Absolutely brilliant to work with. Generous beyond belief and makes you feel so very comfortable. Had to deal with a lot of stress and unpredictability on our week long shoot, including a model he had paid saying she had food poisoning so couldn't come, then asking why we changed our plans to accommodate her, complaining about it, and then taking the money without showing. I'm not saying this to shame her, but John deserves so much credit as he worked so hard under this overwhelming situation and other blips. He truly spoilt us and as my first travel and week long shoot with several other models I couldn't have felt safer. So excited to see the images, and ever so greatful for the experience. Do not hesitate to work with John if you wish to explore his photographic skills and style whilst being in respectful and safe hands.

I've just arrived back from an immensely memorable road trip adventure with a dream team of exceptional models that John brought together. John is generous, inspired and motivated by artistic passion. He put his faith in us and created unique magic. I'm so grateful to have been part of John's vision. His approach combines spontaneity and openness to diversity, with precise directions in the moment, resulting in a truly exceptional group shoot, which I feel so privileged to have been a part of. Being in the presence of John's Los Angeles perspective on our Britishness heightened my sense of humour in an enjoyable way throughout every moment of the trip. John is bloody hilarious. Honestly I don't think I have ever laughed so much on a shoot and even now as I'm typing this it brings a massive smile to my face remembering all the crazy antics of that day!

John really has a good eye for photography, as well as acrobatics and suggested some brilliant poses for both me and Keira to do which worked epically!

Wowee what a fab weekend with John and his girlfriend. John booked me for two days as part of his UK tour and boy did we have a blast!

Both were very considerate and constantly making sure I was as comfortable as possible.

Pre comms were great, as we're the results. I can't wait to see the rest of the images.

Had the absolute pleasure of working with John for 3 days when he was touring the UK.

We shot in many beautiful locations and John took stunning images. He is super creative and passionate with his photography and it shows in the amazing images he produces. He is a true artist!

John was an absolute star of a human being from the start to the end of our time. He is super friendly, easy to get on with, funny, kind, considerate. Also professional, respectful & totally trustworthy. John's partner Karen also worked with us, who is also absolutely lovely.

I cannot express how simply, creatively awesome this gent is as a photographer... Period!

I spent a full week working with John, we had been chatting for a while about the options for us to fix something up shoot-wise, so it all came together when John put sweat and blood into planning an extraordinary tour of Europe... It seriously was one heck of a week shooting in every positive and explosively fantastic sense! :D I literally should be writing a separate glowing reference simply about John's out-of-this-world organising skills! Because although we had pencilled in to work together in the Spring/early Summer the year prior, it wasn't until a few months before that John was able to coordinate everything with his work and with planning visitations to several different countries on his trip working with several different models around their best available times. That is one heck of a planning job to take on! And John kept me informed every step of the way from the schedule of our week/how it was going to pan out and the other models I would be duo'ing with over the time. John put everything together with a fine tooth comb and really looked after myself and the other models who worked with us along the way. :) He and his lovely partner Karen must have been absolutely shattered by the end of their trip but they still made absolute certain that it was an enjoyably productive experience whereby those on board where taken good care of to the very end. It honestly felt like a road trip with friends, despite this being our first ever time meeting/working together... I cannot stress enough how lovely an experience it was. John is a true professional in his approach and creative exuberance for photography; every shooting day was a wonderfully teamwork-orientated day which was habitually signed off with John taking everyone to dinner so we could wind down and recharge after an action-packed session. He was kind and conscious of the models safety and wellbeing at all times: when one of the models accidentally had a little slip on some wet rocks on which we were posing causing a little cut (something that happens a lot on location/can happen in any shooting situation), John didn't think twice and instantly ended the shooting to ensure that she was able to get back up to the safety of camp and see that her injury was cared for. It gives you such incredibly warm faith towards your work place and the people that you shoot with when this degree of thoughtfulness is shown. I honestly couldn't recommend John enough as an ace person to work with in all respects! He and Karen moved heaven and earth to make it a pleasant experience for myself of the other models that we worked with. :)

The week was all about rocking cool locations with arty nude and stylised looks combined. John puts a huge amount of effort into assembling styles together for his shoots and brings the most stunningly gorgeous wardrobe collections to feature in the images. The locations varied from natures setting to urbex sites/ruins and John had an ingenuous eye for so many different visions and had the unquestionable skill to mix up contrasting looks in challenging light/locations and make it work. It didn't matter if we models were making statuesque shapes, expressing a mood with a given outfit or becoming part of the environment... John as a photographer is such a talented creative and can create a beautifully story-telling image with impact no matter what scenario is before his lens. It goes without saying that I was ever so excited to go through the back of the camera in the breaks at the end of the day because the sheer number of killer shots in Johns camera was insane. And of course John and Karen were met with the obligatory hospitality of good old changeable British weather! :P We had glaring sunshine, we had downpours, we had gloom... John just took it in his stride and worked with the conditions with uber care to smash the moment in whatever conditions had been set upon us. Location work is such a challenge for the photographer in that sense, and one of the reasons you get such a buzz when the shots do work. :)

And probably another separate reference is due for the crazy amount of time I spent laughing on this road trip! This made it such an unforgettable time because despite the fact that we hadn't shot before and I had never met/worked with the other models that John booked to duo with me, it was literally just non-stop laughter the whole time like everyone had known everyone for years. The week went by so quickly as a result, the famous saying is so true about time flying when you're having a ball... It was really sad when we parted ways at the end! :')

Thank you so much John for everything! It was such an unforgettable week and the image productivity was just out of this world.
