I had my third shoot with the lovely James today; this time at the Art Asylum in Weymouth. Comms are always spot on and he was very understanding when I was late due to train delays (sorry!). Great eye for light and background, happy to collaborate on ideas and a pleasure to chat to between sets. We have two more shoots already in the diary and I'm looking forward to them both. Very highly recommended!

I worked with James recently on a studio day at Map Studio in Loughborough. It happened to be that one insane day of summer and there was also lots of traffic crazyness going on.

We managed to shoot for an hour though and it was really ace! James is a really lovely guy to chat to and work with, and he took some awesome pictures despite the heat. I would very highly recommend working with James and I hope we can do a bit of a longer shoot sometime :)

So I had a really awesome shoot with James last week!... The shoot itself had been organised well in advance but comms throughout were perfect, we kept in touch briefly up until the shoot and then all details and arrangements were confirmed, perfect!...

James arrived on time and was very chatty and friendly. And of course most importantly he was relaxed, so we had a cuppa and chatted about the shoot and the plan.. oh and had a good giggle before we got started!

Deciding to change the plan a little due to the unpredictable weather we ventured outside to the park to shoot some editorial looking fashion and portraits etc...

We got some awesome shots between the showers and had a good venture round, the whole shoot was really productive with James playing around with composition and angles...

I would certainly recommend James to other models!... He's a really genuine person & a talented photographer!...

Thanks again & I hope we get to shoot again in the future!

I worked with James on a studio shoot at map studios with another model!

James was utterly lovely! The time we shot together flew by! We shot various looks on different sets ups and even made it outside in the lovely weather ( I know shocking! Haha)

Would 100 percent recommend James to any other model or studio! Such a gent!

James was friendly and easy going, with a relaxed attitude to shooting. We had the luxury of time and a great studio on our hands, so were able to shoot various sets and get some great images.

James and I shot together for the first time yesterday in my hotel, We focused on natural lighting in B&W. All I can really say is that James in a true gentleman and an absoloute joy to work with. We talked the whole time (biffy chats obviously) We got on very well and the time just flew by!

I can wait to work with James again in the future and I highly reccomend to any model. Absoloutly brillaint photographer.

Second shoot now with the ever fabulous James: I remember when we were first in touch to shoot - how time flies! This time around we just bounced off each other like there was no tomorrow and this most recent shoot is a perfect example of how a really lovely team rapport just has you flowing. :) We shot again at Joel Hicks Photographic whilst I was touring the area, having already worked at the studio/location we had the advantage of getting stuck into making creative images right away and because James is always delighted when his models offer their own creative input it's always a blast working with him because we just inspire each other.

We revisited some of the old spots we shot at last time and did some new places as well! James is like a ninja getting the right angles now, any further down on that jetty and he would have been in the lake too! But this is the kind of enthusiasm he drives into his shoots, if the model is getting herself into a crazy position you can guarantee that James is too to get the best possible angle and do the shot justice. We had challenging light this time with the sun popping out to say hello every now and then, still James took it all with a pinch of salt and just did his thing with the usual relaxed but productive course as always. He is a really awesome photographer who appreciates all manner of creative styles so you can literally drop any new style bombshell on him and he'll work it no end to get cracking images. :D

Finally, it is always a major laugh when we shoot. There is more chin-wagging done that I usually do in a whole week so our jaws certainly get a workout :) ...a really friendly and charming gentleman who I seriously doubt anyone would struggle to get along with. He is upbeat, positive and full of beans with his photoshoots but at the same time uber-respectful with the etiquette of a saint and will always bring yummies to a shoot as well! :P Prior to and after a shoot, his communications are on the ball, even when we had the risk of the shoot being postponed James kept me updated every step of the way and moved mountains to get it sorted. He really is a gem really and should surely be entitled to a medal for putting up with me twice over now! XD

I shot with James for the first time today at mine for a couple of hours and he's a pleasure to work with :)

He turned up on time and was professional throughout. Very laid back and easy to get along with! He had lots of idea's for the shoot but also let me take the reins and do my own thing. Love the shots we created today and hope to work with him again soon!

Definitely recommended by me! :)

Myself and James had our first shoot today and we got some epic shots! The first location didn't go to plan what with builders hanging around (Grrr!) but we went to our second one, walked for a while, pulled down some metal fencing and shooting away. I managed to get battered by a wooden door but got some epic shots in the location. Definitely recommended off me!

Had an absolute blast with Mr Wilson at The Pit Studio, he's so lovely to be around and we got on very well. There was constant chat and some silliness, I got to do a bit of dance posing which I don't get to do very often so that was great and he was so kind as to come get me from the place I was staying at and drop me back again.

Absolute gentleman.

Would happily recommend him and I hope to work with him again in the future. As long as he doesn't keep laughing when I fall over.

James was lovely to work with and despite being quite new to model photography had a great eye and was open to all my suggestions (some a bit bonkers) which was awesome. ;)

I had a wonderful few hours with James at Manion Studio in Nottingham yesterday. He very kindly picked me up from my previous booking, and although we lost a bit of time in the traffic, he remained chilled and relaxed throughout. James was happy to let me style and pose myself, but also suggested some ideas that worked really well. Although relatively inexperienced, James is a real pleasure and I'm sure his portfolio will go from strength to strength. Highly recommended and I look forward to next time!

I was first contacted my James to collaborate with an out door location shoot. We shared lots of ideas and decided on location that would fit the theme.

On the day of the shoot. I found James very easy to talk and work with. He's very comfortable to be around and full of great ideas! We shot a lot of different looks and areas of the location in a short space of time very successfully. We also talked about more ideas and locations for another shoot together!

I received some of the images back from the shoot very quickly, edited to a high standard. He is a very talented photographer.

I would highly recommend James! He's great to work with and gives fantastic images! To shoot with its very relexing and excited because we both were full of ideas! Brilliant photography!

We shot together at map studios last Friday, after setting up the studio and lighting we soon came up with different ideas to try to add colour to James' portfolio. The shoot ended really quickly and we still had more ideas to try so booked another shoot together there and then. I'm really excited to see the images that were took and also equally excited to work together again this month.

This is a double ref because I am a half brained Dodo.

Our first shoot was arranged at a location I've recently found, James was sold at the first mention of 'abandoned' ... The shoot was creative, we hit it off and I was comfortable enough to pose nude after an hour or so... James' first nude too!

After the success of the first shoot we quickly booked a second with a different location in mind. That we did this morning and achieved a totally different kind of result to that of the first time we had met. I wish all photographers were like James but alas they are not!

More than a recommendation from me!

James and I literally had a brief chat and giggle about inspirational shoot ideas after he got in touch with kind compliments of some of my work... literally before the afternoon was out we had a shoot booked. :) His communications were absolutely fantastic and we both agreed that it was to be a session where we just creatively wind it and she what wonderful ideas we stumble across along the way. I love shoots where photographers welcome me on board to supply imaginative input at the best of times but I felt instantly excited about working together and James' enthusiastic approach was doubly encouraging.

Despite the fact that he has only been shooting models for a small gap in time (in comparison to his landscape/architecture photography) James had amazing discipline with framing a shot beautifully on location and getting stunning details with the surroundings to create an image that screamed, WOW! He didn't need to concentrate for great lengths of time to figure out how best to capture the image because he thought so quick on his feet and was always conscious of my comfort on a rickety platform over water with my largest pair of high heels on! We had more laughs than you can begin to imagine, that's for certain!

We did a little bit of everything: initially planning two hours of shooting to see how things went and finishing having extended to half a day! The ideas just kept rolling in and the reviews on the back of the camera said it all: even when we went into the studio there was never a shortage of things to do, we just carried on bouncing off once another and getting a wonderful variety of photos produced. James was patient with the lighting setups and had the perseverance of a saint when we came to doing the more complicated sets like body-scapes. He is so driven with his photography and this passion drives you as the model to deliver your best. We made a cracking team and it's already looking likely that we will be working together again this summer!

James is a true gem overall: kind, respectful, professional in his approach and with an epic sense of humour too. I don't think there's a model out there that wouldn't get on with him in fact! I really look forward to our next shoot and recommend him so very highly.
