References for Mr Jones

I worked with Mr Jones the first time when he came to penrith to shoot with me.

We did a home shoot at mine and tried something a little different... Light painting.

The images turned out really well and I was interested to see how it worked.

I felt totally comfortable working with Mr jones and we created some awesome artwork.

Mr Jones is one of the most obviously talented photographers I have had the pleasure of working with. We had a lightly planned first shoot at my home today and the variety of both strong and differing imagery I saw back of camera today was amazing. This is something I do NOT say lightly as I am exceedingly fussy as to what I think is good.

He is also very experimental in his approach and can easily cope with constraints to do with the setting and rapidly changing lighting conditions - which is in keeping with his very varied background which also includes architectural and commercial photography as well as fashion photography. He is also clearly very technically proficient with the post production side.

Personality / character wise, I found Mr Jones to be very friendly, respectful and patient (I am autistic and dyspraxic which means I think and model somewhat differently to others and it didn't faze him).

Finally and very importantly to me as a returning model who currently works predominately on a TF basis as I get reestablished - he honours his word - as agreed low res copies of all imagery from the shoot was literally directly transferred onto my computer before he left the session, for me to use both as a learning tool to improve my modelling and for selecting a few absolute favourites for editing (this will be VERY hard as there are so many good ones).

I cannot wait to work with him again on a more experimental project with light drag motion blur effects. If you get the opportunity to work with Mr Jones (he is very busy for obvious reasons) jump at it.

Absolute great shoot done today, i needed some images for an agency and I'm positive we have shot some really amazing images today.

Paul is such a lovely great polite fun photographer to work with and has some really great amazing ideas.

My back is now in pieces which means a great shoot ha ha, down to earth has a laugh throughout.

I feel very lucky that I am able to give this talented photographer his first reference on PP. We shot together in the most wonderful studio in Manchester for a great client. I got to see all of my shots on the Computer afterwards and they already looked great without being edited yet! We did a full day shoot and the time went quickly and overall we had a great time!
