It was my first time shooting with David at the group shoot organised by himself. Pre communication was excellent with ideas discussed and details provided. Everything was well prepared and spot on at the location.

I felt very comfortable and at ease as the atmosphere was very welcoming and warming. David is very professional and kind person, I’d be looking forward to shooting with him again or to being invited to his workshops.

Another super shoot organised by David. Great outdoor location and shooting with Cariad generated some awesome images from all involved on the shoot.

David has the talent to set up an instant working relationship with his subject, giving encouragement, praise and great direction to his models.

A great location, with a super model. Very organised and well thought out. Impressive weather as a bonus. Great value for money and allowed to have input to what the model was wearing and how she was styled. A great shoot with only a few photographers so it was kept moving. Model changed three times so gave some variety of appearance. Dutch was very welcoming and introduced everyone at the start, a lovely friendly shoot with good results.

I've worked with David a number of times, mainly on group shoots and lighting workshops that he's arranged and would recommend him both as a photographer and as a lighting guru. Professional relaxed attitude in whatever we're doing.

He has access to both indoor and private outdoor venues that provide a variety of location 'looks'.

Group shoots are relaxed and easy going with a very informal atmosphere where nobody feels pressured or under the spotlight. There's a good banter in the groups but everybody is happy to chip in and help each other out with cameras settings, style ideas, different poses, lighting etc etc to make the shots work.

Model 'safety' is always central on these events with the model being looked after at all times - after all an unhappy or uncomfortable model leads to poor images.

David comes Highly recommended from me.

Attended one of David's studio lighting tuition nights, was made to feel welcome and at ease and the small group gave everyone plenty of time to practice what was being taught. Picked up lots of useful well explained info and would definitely recommend.
