It was great working with Mike. It was my first time working with him at his studio. I have never done a shoot where I had multiple photographers taking turns to photograph me. It was a fun experience and they all made me feel comfortable and were very friendly. The environment is nice and relaxing. Very good studio as well. Hope to work with him again soon!

Mike Lester Photography studio is great! All the facilities are there (car park, kitchen with supplies to make hot drinks, toilets, a private area for changing that includes a dressing table and mirrors). The studio is clean and tidy with plenty of clothes and props. The backdrops, lighting equipment, and the space available is brilliant! We had everything we needed to have a fun and successful photoshoot. Mike was lovely in attending to myself and Shaun (photographer) to make sure we were happy and had what we required. I’m very happy and I can’t wait to see the photos!

I took a part in Mike's Bodyscape workshop a few weeks ago. I learned a lot of new things. Atmosphere was relaxed, model - great and studio was spacious but comfortable. Price - reasonable. Definitely worth recommendation.

Had my first group shoot with Mike, what a great experience would fully recommend to any future models. I had my first tutorial on studio lights with Mike. I came away from the one day course with confidence and really responded well to the guidance and teaching style that he has. I felt really able to experiment and also be shown how to create stunning lighting set ups. I have since been able to make use of what I've learnt to book studio days for myself and models knowing that i will be able to set up the shots that i want. I've now attended three assisted one to one studio shoots at Mike's studio in Garforth with Mike being my trainer/tutor for each of the three 2 hour assisted shoots. Mike is a good trainer/tutor who takes full account of my learning objectives/needs for/during each session. I have come away from each session having gained more understanding and confidence regarding my photographic skills and working with models. Well recommended.

So I met Mike while he was taking photos of not me but our guest room for airB&B haha! we had a very nice chat and he invited me for a test photo shoot! I love working with him, he's so chatty, friendly and he's a fantastic teacher as well! he has a true passion for photography, lots of ideas and his studio based in Garford is great, spacious and very well equipped- i love the dressing room (corsets!♥) I'm always excited to work with him again and have tasty coffe while sitting on the sofa, talikg about everything like to an old friend! I recommend him highly- oh, and come and say hi to me and Mike on his training sessions!

I'm just breaking into portrait photography and did a lighting training day with Mike earlier this month. The model used (Laura) was patient with me as was Mike himself. It was a valuable day for me and I cannot praise Mike and Laura enough for the help I received.

I have worked with Mike for a couple of years now on several different projects, each time producing some fabulous images.

Mike is very easy to work with always checking you're comfortable. He has never pushed levels and he always has great communication before an arranged shoot so that you know what to bring along and what's expected.

Great tog book him now :-)

Working with Mike is a true pleasure. He is a fantastic bloke - Friendly, down to earth, polite when giving direction, attentive (Plenty of coffee given!! Always a bonus haha) and skilled. Mike has a great style, especially when it comes to glamour. Absolute class!

His studio is just perfect; with a large and CLEAN changing room with a full length mirror, lots of props and funky outfits.
