I came across MistyDrew via his Facebook page. After a short messaging conversation we met at a local venue.

Drew was very helpful and respectful and we had an enjoyable relaxing shoot (in the sunshine!).

The photos I subsequently received from Drew are brilliant.

And I thoroughly enjoyed it, he is easy to work with, nice to talk to and gave direction when needed, excellent communication before, during and after.

So after some to and from on messages, we ended up doing a shoot for a hour on Saturday at Castle Park after I put a call out for a photographer to do headshots for my acting portfolio.

Drew had a great energy and enthusiasm for getting some great shots for my headshots and we did some portrait too (because why not?) in various locations around Castle Park. Hopefully we will be able to do some alternative urban on Thursday together.

Would highly recommend Drew, great communication, great fun, great laugh and an absolutely lovely person to work with. I can't wait for next time.

I had the pleasure to work with Drew during my tour to Somerset. Pre-communication was great; Drew responded to my casting, and we arranged a shoot very fast. Drew was accommodating and kind enough to come to my area. We met in a beautiful place near the Castle in Wells. I found Drew to be a very friendly and nice person. We had a lovely chat and a nice walk around the castle. Drew captured many magical and beautiful shots.

The entire shoot was relaxed and fun. Drew was concerned about my comfort and made an effort to keep me warm.

Had the pleasure of my first shoot with Drew.

The communication was consistent and regular.

We first met and enjoyed a coffee over some casual conversation and then spent a few hours shooting around the park. We managed to get a great variety of shots, and Drews personality and conversation was amazing.

Definitely would recommend Drew, such a lovely person!

What can I say about my first shoot with Drew

Our shoot was shortened due to Traffic issues on route, which is always a shame. However drew was kind and understanding about the situation.

Finding the location was easy enough, but finding the entrance/parking was a bit of a nightmare. But that's just city life for you. Next time we'll meet in a cafe so the waiting will be warmer.

Once I had arrived and hellos where done with, we were both willing and eager to crack on. The chosen location had a bathroom to change in which is a miracle if you know a thing or two about location shoots.

His communications before, during and after have been amazing. We discussed several ideas, and we agreed on a location Drew had used a few times before for Model Shoots.

By the end of the shoot I felt we'd achieved a good number of quality images, had got stuck in enough trees and form a good friendship.

If you're looking for a fun, comfortable, easy style shoot then I highly recommend Drew. He's friendly and enthusiastic, (and strong enough to help if you can't get down from some where high). It was nice to work with someone who is happy for you to do your own thing instead of asking how dangerous.

I look forward to working with you again, the images I've seen so far are beautiful

I had a outdoor shoot with Drew back in December. He was friendly, funny and great to work with.

We shot fire, hoops, and other circus skills. It wasn't something he'd done before but we got some fantastic images, especially of my fire skills! I had a great time on the shoot despite the cold and am really pleased with the photos - thank you! :)

I had an excellent first shoot with Drew and would thoroughly recommend working with him.

Comms were clear and professional throughout. On the day, I was an hour late due to a cancelled train and Drew was understanding and supportive throughout.

Once we met, Drew instantly put me at ease and we got on very well. Drew has a brilliant creative eye and had loads of great ideas for what we could shoot and what locations we could use around Bristol Harbourside. He clearly has a great eye for natural light and an eye for detail.

The shoot flew by as we had a lot of fun and it was really relaxed allowing us both to be creative.

I would definitely recommend choosing Drew to work with. I had a blast working with him and look forward to doing more shoots with him in the future.

Had a lovely first shoot with Drew after meeting up at the Bristol Social and discussing some ideas.

We shot in my home studio and it was clear from the start that Drew had brilliant ideas on how to compose each shot and use the space to our advantage. I could see straight away he uses natural light really well. I was very happy with the back of the camera images, which were flattering and had some gorgeous colours in them. We listened to some great music (courtesy of Drew) and time flew by.

Drew is great company, very thoughtful and friendly and took my ideas on board. I felt relaxed throughout the shoot and very much appreciated the brownies he brought over! 😁

Wonderful & relaxed first shoot with Drew 😊

What a lovely and considerate guy! From pre-comms alone (and a very brief meeting at one of the socials!) I got a genuine, friendly vibe and could tell we would get along.

We planned a half day shoot with two different themes. First up was a pirate shoot on location where Drew turned up on time (well, early!) and we settled into the day so easily, roaming around and making the most out of our location whilst getting to know each other & creating some great images.

Secondly was a coffeehouse editorial style! I really appreciated this suggestion from Drew, telling me he had had a look at my portfolio and wanted to do something different that wasn't already on there. I loved the consideration for that since I'm keen to embody some variety and avoid getting typecast! A chance to show some versatility was much appreciated 😁 And the back of the camera shots looked absolutely brilliant.

We really crafted up some atmospheres today!

Drew is a kindhearted and laid back professional.

I can absolutely recommend to all models. Thanks Drew!

A great, relaxed location shoot with Drew in Cheltenham last Friday. Drews pre comms were great and he found me in the arranged meeting place. This was our second shoot and so we had a good catch up over a coffee and discussed ideas before we got started. Whilst shooting in various locations around Cheltenham,we got on well and our ideas flowed. Drew was open to my shoot ideas and also gave direction well when required. Drew was very kind and brought me lunch as this was an all day booking. The whole shoot was enjoyable and very relaxed. Drew showed me back of camera as well. All in all a great way to spend a sunny day in Cheltenham. I wish Drew all the best with his Photography business and would shoot with him again if the opportunity arose. I would also recommend Drew to other models. Thanks for your time Drew :) x

Wow what a good second shoot we had yesterday!

We started out on the beach, the sun was beaming down and I was modelling in swimwear my favourite what more can you want!

We then went on to the second location it did end up getting a bit chilly so we did all we can there but still managed to get some awesome images.

Misty is a lovely guy great company and such a pleasure to work with.

The shoot went way to quick! I really really enjoyed myself.

I can not wait to see the final images and to shoot again.

I had my second shoot with misty today and it was just as much fun as the last! He’d booked a hotel room and we discussed a few idea of places and things we’d like to shoot and do and then got straight to it! We created some really nice images using the bed and shower and some interesting (in a good way!) ones using the curtain which I can’t wait to see! All in all he was his usual friendly respectful self and I can’t ask for anymore from him

Shot with misty for the first time today and we couldn’t have had a better shoot! Pre coms we’re great and we settled in a few locations and themes that we’d work out the specifics of on the day (weather dependant). The shoot itself was lovely with Misty knowing the first of the second locations amazingly and knowing where the best spots for lighting were! We had a few onlookers who limited the levels we were able to shoot to but we still got some cracking shots - can’t wait to see them!

Misty and I arranged a second shoot and despite the weather not playing nicely with us, we were able to adapt and still came away with great images. Misty's pre shoot communications are excellent, well thought out and properly planned - it's always useful to know what the plan is in advance!

He arrived on time and ready to go, so after a brief look around, we jumped attaint into it. Misty clearly knows his way around a camera, not hesitating to adjust his settings throughout the shoot.

He carries an aire of calmness about him and the shoot never felt rushed.
