I worked with Gemma a few months back who was booked as a MUA for my shoot. When she arrived I realised I had got it completely wrong and she should have been the model on the day, not the MUA.

A natural beauty, charming, creative and an excellent MUA too! We will be working again (the right way this time) later this year.

This was the first time i'd shot with Gemma and she was just brilliant!

Pre-shoot comms. were excellent (clear, prompt, concise) and she was ready bang on time when i picked her up on the way to the studio (turned out i had to practically go past her door to get to the studio).

She'd bought a good range of outfits as we'd discussed and her make-up was as good as you'd expect from a trainee MUA - faultless. I'd booked her to be the subject of various lighting set-ups i wanted to try and despite the somewhat cool conditions in the lower studio, she put up with my messing around with great tolerance. Despite her age, her 2yrs of modelling show through in the effortless way she moves through a wide range of posing styles but she was equally happy to adjust these to tweak a particular look. And the constant requests from me to move a lick of hair that kept dropping forward didn't seem to trouble her.

Would be more than happy to work with her again and would definitely recommend her to other photographers.

I joined a group shoot at BrightLights Studios today, with Gemma Louise as our Model. She was punctual, had done her own make up to a high standard, worked hard and took direction very well. I got some great pictures, and it was very enjoyable working with her.

This was a night time shoot and it was bitterly, bitterly cold. Gemma worked without complaint for two hours and she was visibly shivering at times. Great girl to work with and look forward to another shoot in warmer conditions. I would thoroughly recommend her.

I shot Gemma at a PremierStudioDays (on purpleport) event ran by James Jenkins. She showed up on time with a range of outfits and did an excellent job of her own Make Up. She clearly looks after her skin, is very friendly, and she made my life a whole host easier given i'm reasonably new to portraiture. Plenty of pose ideas, yet willing to take direction - perfect.

I had a really enjoyable shoot with Gemma today at Ariane Studio. She arrived early with plenty of clothing. She is simply one of the best models around - she is a complete natural in front of the camera requiring little direction as well as being a lovely person. I will definitely be arranging some more shoots with her very soon. Definitely recommended.
