Today I had the great pleasure of shooting with Mimi once again. I had been asked to shoot on behalf of a clothing and shapewear brand GWB and Mimi was one of the models at the shoot, as before. Shooting with Mimi is a joy and such a pleasure. Mimi is beautiful, fun and professional and looked amazing throughout the shoot. Mimi poses with ease and needs no direction. I really hope we get the chance to shoot some independent, fashion and edgy content together soon. Highly recommended.

Another shoot with Mimi at JB Studio this time with a Halloween theme. Mimi arrived with suitable outfits and props. As ever she poses with confidence and is very happy to free-flow posing naturally creating great looks and great images without the need for direction. This was a "Thru the Lens" night with three sets and five photographers so Mimi was working for 4 hours with minimal breaks. She finished the night with a duo shoot with model Elektra 77. After her recent health issues it is good to see her getting back into the modelling community. As before happy to highly recommend her to photographers of all levels.

Good to see Mimi at the 24 hour charity shoot at JB Studios. She poses with ease and is happy to free-flow. As I'm sure many of you reading through Mimi's references here, can see we have worked together on many occasions and shot various themes and styles.

This recent shoot held at JB Studios in Benfleet, Essex, was Mimi's first studio shoot since undergoing surgery and on going Chemotherapy treatments for Breast Cancer.

A very important evening for her.

Well, if she was feeling nervous then Mimi hid it very well. As always the level of professionalism and her approach to the shoot (Any shoot!) was amazing as ever.

We had 2 themes during the evening.

1st: Implied level.

Mimi wanted to revel a little more of her body how it is today, following her mastectomy and breast reconstruction. This showing how positive she is going forward. Hoping the images inspire other ladies going through this that you have to carry on and drive forward with your life. Incredible!

2nd: It was actually Mimi's birthday. So, a pink come rose gold dress, nice blue and white heels and a tiara was of course the right choice while using the chase lounge as a prop. Add party poppers and boom. A real fun set to shoot.

Mimi is now looking to get modelling a lot more frequently again now and I'm so looking forward to our next little adventure.

This lady is full of ideas and extremely creative. A great model for seasoned professionals and novices alike. Little if any direction needed and guaranteed to get super images.

Mimi was still having chemotherapy following surgery for Breast Cancer. She was justifiably proud of her post-surgery body and keen to show other women how beautiful and attractive she was.

What can I say. This was such an important shoot for many reasons.

Mimi and I have worked together a number of times, but this was so different.

After Mimi’s diagnosed breast cancer late last year, operations and on going treatments of Chemotherapy, I really wanted to get this one right.

I think both of us felt a little on edge to start. This Mimi’s first shoot as such following her treatments.

Now, having shaved her head as her hair was falling out and accepted that’s how she will be for sometime yet, it was such a brave move to do this fashion based shoot.

Mimi, as professional as ever, turned up and did her thing. AMAZING to say the least.

Mimi is so confident in front of camera. More so than many and has all the experience and skills at her disposal to draw upon.

This wasn’t just a shoot! This was a star of the journey back for her. I felt the pressure.

But, we came away with some lovely images and some very strong emotional images too.

This lady isn’t hiding in the shadows, she want’s to help other as much as she can by showing a positive and driven attitude to the months and year ahead.

I was both pleased and honoured to do this shoot. This was about Mimi, not my requirement for certain feels or desires.

I have always said as a model this lady is up there. And if you’ve not paid attention or passed her by then more fool you!

This talent she has and her attitude is rare and needs to be encouraged especially with the new models coming into the industry.

Can’t recommend high enough.

Mimi is a natural model. She really knows her body and how to move it. She is happy to follow direction but also easily poses without. She is a great model for those starting out in photography as she has a lot of patience whilst being confident posing allowing you to focus on lighting/composure etc. Mimi is a pleasure to have at the studio and is high on our recommended list! x

Had the most wonderful duo shoot with this awesome lady today.

I approached Mimi with my ideas for a classy soft & sensual duo boudoir shoot and she was more than happy to be a part of it :)

We didn't really have a plan as such,was more of a wing it type thing but Mimi was more than happy to take control as she'd done something similar before.

Mimi is sooooo lovely, down to earth and funny with fantastic posing skills :)

I honestly think we could get thrown into any style of shoot and we would just get on with it well together:)

Had the opportunity to work with this lady once again at a group shoot held in Colchester Castle Park last week. This was a social gathering of models and photographers. Such fun!

As always Mimi was so prepared for some just off the wall Fashion Shooting. And also as always, never leaves anything on the table. Some fabulous images were captured during this relaxed and fun shoot. A good friend, a great model for all styles and full of ideas. What more could you ask for.

If you have never had the opportunity to work with her then it’s about time you did! Simple as that!!

Mimi was a part of the crowd that got together for a group shoot at Colchester park so we took the opportunity to get some duo shots together whilst we could.

Mimi is such a lovely down to earth person and very friendly. Easy to work alongside with.

We already have another duo shoot booked in at the end of the month so looking forward to seeing what we create on this one.

This was my first group shoot organised by the talented Krystal (PP kjphoto), and it was brilliant! Lots of models, more locations than you could shake a stick at and great weather thrown in :)

Never having worked with Mimi before I wasn't sure what to expect. What I got was a seriously professional model who is very good at her job! Easy posing, including some free movement I wasn't expecting but loved, and the bonus of an absolutely killer look to camera! Wonderful!!
