Excellent studio, nice dressing room with lots of props, shoes, good lighting for makeup. very spacious, clean studio overall with good backdrops. I'd love to shoot there again and would recommend. Everyone was really welcoming and friendly. 5 stars out of 5:) xxx

I had such a fun shoot at Millwood studio on my trip to Manchester, it was an evening group shoot and every photographer was so lovely and all came very prepared with ideas which i thought was great! the studio is one of the best ive ever been too! its such a great space with something for everyone, there is lovely natural light that comes through but it also well equipped with all lights back drops and has some amazing and original sets on 2 floors, I highly recommend this studio and hope to be back soon to visit Grady :D

I had the pleasure of shooting at Millwood studios on a Andrew Appleton's Concept to Completion workshop yesterday. Great studios, well equipped and friendly atmosphere. Paul and Jamie were great hosts and their help in setup was really appreciated. Look forward to shooting there again soon.

I did my first shoot at Millwood today. What an awesome studio to work in....masses and masses of space, clean, well kept and some excellent sets to work from. Paul is a friendly, chatty bloke and was very helpful when I needed him (and makes a great cup of coffee). I will definitely use this studio again.

Millwood studio was stunning - they really had some great features inside. The atmosphere put me at ease and the photographers present were amazing.

I had a great time shooting there and would defiantly take up the opportunity to work there again - as should anyone given the chance!

Millwood is a really great studio to work at, for models or photographers alike. When looking for studios it's sometimes really hard to gauge from images what studios are going to be like,and Millwood is even better than the photos show. The studio is set over two floors in a huge characterful old mill building with beautiful stone walls, wooden flooring and tall ceilings. The studio is clean and has all the modern equipment you need whilst retaining it's charming original features.

There are plenty of unique sets including realistic barn, dungeon, Mediterranean, four-poster bed, trashed squat as well as a large, well kept cove room, and they have thought of every detail.

The studio boasts loads of interesting props including pianos, a large old wooden wagon/cart, leather armchairs, etc etc, and also a range of coloured paper backdrops which can be set up for you.

The studio has professional standard Bowens lighting but there are also large windows on the upstairs which will allow you to do natural light work.

Millwood also has a kitchen area, comfortable reception and large, well equipped dressing room for the model.

Paul was really helpful during my studio day, offering assistance,making lovely tea and being friendly and accommodating. Paul was also helpful during a messy flour shoot, where he assisted with the shoot and rigorously cleaned up afterwards. Thanks so much Paul!

The studio is worth every penny, being such a diverse space to work in.

What a wonderful place Millwood Studio is - from the immense top floor with it's fantastic stone walls and wooden floor, to the pristine white cove and inspired sets downstairs. I can't thank Paul enough for the wonderful shoot I had at Millwood last weekend. We covered the top floor (and Lizzie Bayliss) in flour, and I could not have made those images without Paul's help. He's the genuine time-served, experienced pro who has a real passion for making great pictures, (and great coffee :P) and the design and contents of the studio reflect this from the sets to the abundance of props. No hesitation in recommending Millwood studios.

I'd been to Millwood for one of their Thursday evening get-togethers a few months ago and found it a bit crowded but I used the visit as a recce to see the setup and the layouts available. I gather they've now changed the format of these nights to limit the number of 'togs and give everybody a bit more shooting time so should be better.

My second visit was for the Lizzie Bayliss 'tour.' You've got the place to yourself for shooting so can go at as many sets as you can cram in - I ran out of time after three so may need another trip to do a few more later. There's so many set options you could keep going many times before you exhaust the layouts (and your imagination.)

The studio's relaxed and Paul's very helpful - doing the gophering with furniture, lights etc. There's options for both natural and studio lighting. Lizzie had done a few shoots before I got there and had ideas on the stuff available. It's amazing the shots you can get with just a wooden cable reel... ;-)

Recommended as a shooting venue - gotta work out my next trip sometime...

Had a two hour photo shoot with Amy Rose yesterday down at Millwood Studios. I would highly recommend the studio to anyone, some great sets for use with either natural or studio lighting. Assistance is also provided for those who require some assistance with lighting set-ups.

Did a test shoot for studio and Amy Rose at Millwood Studio on an Amy Rose Model Day. Just 2 hours which just flew by.

Both exceeded my expectations. Studio is clean, organised and obviously well run.

Unusual props and sets in good condition - Left to get on with shoot with no interference but advice available if required.

I had my first shoot at Millwood Photography yesterday. We did a four hour shoot having travelled up from Birmingham to use this studio. I can honestly say I was totally impressed by this studio. It has plenty of room in which to work and has been very well thought out in terms of the sets available and the best use of the space available. The facilities available are probably the best of any studio I have used since I started studio photography. I will definitely be using this studio again in the future and would definitely recommend it to photographers near and far.

I had a modelling shoot with Millwood photography last Thursday and really enjoyed it. It was my first visit and the studio was lovely and modern and I had a warm welcome from Jamie and felt right at home. It was a group shoot with about 7 photographers and they were all very friendly, I would highly recommend working with them. I look forward to working with Jamie at Millwood again :)

I had my very first visit to Millwood Studio on Thursday night, when I was booked to model for the evening. I have to say I was very impressed with the studio set up. Fantastic studio and great location for me.

Every photographer who attended the shoot was lovely and I was made welcome.

I will definitely be recommending this studio to everyone who hasn't been. Thanks everyone x
