References for Mike Grantham

I have worked with Mike before where he was behind the camera as a brilliant photographer but he ‘swapped sides’ to play a role in a large themed shoot - ‘Carry on ‘Again’ Camping. Mike played the angry father and did a brilliant job of looking and acting the part. Mike is great to have on set as he is a team player, friendly professional and helpful. I hope to work with Mike again.

Mike and I worked on a shoot together yesterday. We had a bit of time together before the model arrived and we sat and chatted. Mike is a lovely guy, friendly chatty and an interesting man.

Once our model arrived we were straight to it, sharing ideas, lighting setups and poses.

Mike is a relaxed confident photographer who can create some cracking images.

Mike was a total pleasure to work with and I have no hesitation recommending him to any model.

I have worked with Mike a few times now mostly on group shoots and this time it was yet another group shoot, full of laughs and lots of twisted humour which we all loved. Mike is great to work with, a fab photographer and a true gent - what more could you ask for?!

If you haven't worked with him yet then do so, he's lovely! I hope that we can get the chance to work with one another on a more 1 to 1 basis at some point but it's always a pleasure to see him at group shoots of course.

I had another fantastic shoot with Mike, this time it was all set around the "Red Carpet" event. Mike has captured some wonderful images. Not only is Mike a brilliant photographer, he is great to work with. Hope to work with him again in the future. Highly recommended.

Ideas were well planned out and as a result the shoot had a clear direction. Time flew by and we shot loads of great themes and concepts. I also enjoyed bouncing ideas off each other.

Today I was very lucky to work on an 1:1 shoot with Mike from Rochester Studios!

Mike is a very professional, polite and fun photographer !

I really enjoyed working together using many different backgrounds and also experimenting with flash photography and gels !

We’ve worked on a series of photographs from portraiture, fashion, implied and art nude !

The photographs on the back of the camera looked fantastic and were well framed and with good lighting!

On the top he Mike has great taste in music :D

Needless to say Mike comes very highly recommended by me and would be a real pleasure to work together again in the future!

I have seen Mike's work around a lot but have wanted to work with him for a little while and finally got the chance to not only once but a few times now and each time it has been very different but he has adapted well and we have managed to get some brilliant shots!

It's mainly only been on group shoots so far, so would be great to work with him on a one to one basis sometime.

I would highly recommend working with Mike if you haven't already, he is very laid back but also knows what he wants to achieve and isn't afraid to experiment with new ideas.

I met Mike on a large shoot at a fort where there were a lot of models and other photographers so it was busy, but Mike was absolutely brilliant. He took time to get the poses just right to get that first class photo. Such an easy going manner and a lovely man. Highly recommended.

So nice to shoot with Mike for the first time on Rachelle Summers Stepford Wives event at The Hacienda along with Nicole Rayner :)

These events can be so challenging for both models and photographers as you really have to step out of your comfort zone and just do something different, and Mike certainly took it all in his stride :)

Mike was very easy to work its as he shot quickly and chatted away making the time just disappear in an instant, as the photographers were shooting in pairs throughout the day I can say Mike worked well as a team player and was helpful when it came to the lighting as well. I can’t wait o see the results from the day :)

Mike attended a studio day hosted by Sister of Sinister and what an awesome guy he is to work with! He is super friendly and knows exactly what he is trying to achieve. He showed me some previous work of his and wanted to do something similar with the gel lights and I was really impressed with the image! I would definitely recommend Mike to any model :D
