First shoot with Mike on Saturday at his studio in Cork. It was the first time I had ever shot wet plates and it was a super fun process to see. Would love to shoot this style again. Mike is very easy to shoot with. He explained the whole process in detail and was great at giving direction to get fantastic end results. The wet plates were beautiful.

Highly recommend Mike. Hopefully we can shoot together again :)

I had a wonderful shoot with Mike last week, in his rather spacious studio in Cork - what a diamond this fellow is!

Was super excited to work with Mike, as it was my first time shooting wet plate photography - his technique and knowledge on the subject is quite incredible, and the pictures were utterly exquisite! We also shot a roll of film and some digital, lots of chatting and laughing whilst shooting too. Mike is a brilliant fellow, friendly, respectful, funny, and gives direction excellently.

I highly recommend Mike to all models, would work with him again in a heartbeat!

Well what can I say about Mike? The guy is a genius!

I was so happy he asked me to shoot with him in such a unique way, he even let me stand in the dark room and watch him produce these stunning images!

Literally the coolest shoot ive had in a long time!

Slow process but SO worth it, I'm in love with the images we produced!

I worked with Mike during an all day shoot at Platform 3 Studio in Cork. Mike is an excellent photographer, very professional, made me feel respected and at ease throughout and had lots of creative ideas. The shoot was made with his vintage camera on metal plates, and the results were amazing.

Highly recommend and would love to work with him again.

I had 3 fantastic days with Mike at West Cork, Ireland, an amazing place!

He is and it was with me, extremely professional in every single detail of my journey, we clicked straight away.

We agreed everything with time in advance, excellent communication, he picked me up at the station, we made some amazing plates in his studio and then for the next 2 days he organized a art nude workshop in the beautiful location where he lives. All the participants were extremely happy and satisfied, you can see straight away when someone has experienced teaching and passion in photography to transmit to the rest; Mike is one of them.

I had such an amazing time with him and his family, thank you so much for all your hospitality (special thanks to Rita) looking forward to coming back and have more time to work with you again Mike!

I had a great first shoot with Mike on my recent tour of Southern Ireland. Pre shoot comms were excellent and we got on immediately upon meeting. I loved shooting wet plate with Mike... its a slow process but a really rewarding one. Mike is very respectful and I really enjoyed shooting with him. I hope we can shoot again when I am next over.

I worked with Mike at his studio on my recent and first trip to Ireland. It was a really good experience to work with such a talented photographer who finds beauty in the imperfection of Wet Plates. Mike is a caring and friendly person who took care of me when I stayed in Cork last week. He picked me up from the bus station on time and took me to his studio where we had a very productive 2 hour shoot with great results. I love the plates and I hope to work with him again in the near future. Thank you for having me Mike.

Had a fantastic few days working in Mike's studio in Cork this weekend.

Firstly Mike is an absolutely lovely person, chatty, professional and highly accommodating over the weekend which was wonderful.

The first day (Saturday) I was the model for his workshop. It is very apparent that Mike is highly skilled in photography, teaching various interesting and creative lighting setups. I even learnt some things myself :)

He interacts well with the other photographers he is teaching which I liked, explaining why he is using each light and giving thorough demonstrations. The results from the back of the camera from each person was stunning.

I did a workshop in his studio the second day. I have to say the studio has excellent space, backdrops plenty of lights, including available light.

I loved working in his studio and would highly recommend using it.

Overall fantastic weekend, would recommend Mike as a photographer and his studio and can't wait to come back!

I worked with Mike again on my second trip to Cork a week or so ago. Mike kindly arranged the first day of work which was a workshop and a second day which was a studio day at his lovely studio in Cork. I also arranged my own work whilst I was in the area and had such a lovely stay! Mike as always is a gem to be around; a very talented man and its always a pleasure being in his company. Mike is an excellent teacher, i have worked on many workshops and mike is defiantly in my top 3 for providing a good education on photography, lighting & how to speak to/pose the model.

I was well looked after & enjoyed my time over there, we had good communication before & after the event.

I worked with Mike for 3 days over October, based at his studio in Cork, Ireland. The first two days were workshops and the third day was working with Mike himself. The group shoots were very well organised, productive and I felt happy, respected and safe with plenty of breaks throughout. Mike booked me for three days in June.

Two of the days were Art Nude Workshops which Mike was leading - The location for both days was superb!

You had everything a Art Nude enthusiastic participant should expect when booking a 'Art Nude Workshop on location'

Mike is a knowledgeable Photographer who showed this throughout the two day Workshop and again the following day after the Workshops when we shot on a one to one basis in my Hotel room and again out on location.

I can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed Mike's company, his excellent communication before and after the three days of shooting is hard to find.

A genuinely kind gentleman who simply wishes to collaborate with many Models I assume, to create images not only admired by himself but I am sure by many.
