Artemis Fauna

After a decade or so Mike and I's paths crossed once again! Id brought down some of Mikes belongings from Scotland last year and had kept them safe- planning to at some point head down to Devon to drop them off- this finally happened in March of this year. I asked Mike, instead of fuel money to do a painting of me, for me- he agreed :)

We shot for a few hours, chatted a lot. I brought some sentimental items to me (a silk gown Iain bought me) and we got some lovely images- I am very excited to see my painting when it's created and hang it on my wall one day :)

Had my second and third shoot with Mike last week and it was well worth travelling the distance What i love about the way Mike works is he is always pushing new frontiers and gets you out of your comfort zone.When i work with Mike it is like going into hyper time and time passes when your having fun.Really pleased with what Mike showed me and i think he has a wonderful capability of bringing out your inner beauty with the right combo of good lighting and free flowing creativity which is at the core of femininity.Look forward to seeing end results Thank you Mike for a couple of really good days of good conversations and alchemy.

I had my first shoot with Mike, after speaking for a while about creative shoots. All I’m going to say is WOW WOW WOW. Mike is super creative, lovely and fun. It was one of my best shoots I’ve ever had! We got on well and had a good laugh, as well as creating some incredible images, that were unique and arty. I’m honestly so impressed with his work. I would highly recommend Mike to any type of model!! I will definitely be working with him again, hopefully really soon! :)

I have had a fabulous shoot with Mike. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him and what is more the weather was amazing too, perfect for a nude shoot. I admired Mike's work for a while so one day I contacted him and asked for a shoot. I was very fortunate because Mike said yes. The pre-shoot communication with him was excellent. Mike always responded quickly to my messages. The actual shoot went really well, Mike was full of ideas. He was so creative and knew exactly what he wanted to achieve. Mike was very easygoing and chatty. We had a good discussion covering various topics too. I had a great time shooting with him and honestly hope we will shoot again.

It was so great to get back to shoot again. My first shoot with Mike and after long lockdown. Mike contacted me from my casting call, we started from there.

Pre-comms was excellent, mike sent me reference images he would like to achieved. I love his work and style and it's something that I have not experienced much before.

I was a bit nervous as taken break for long time but that didn't stay for long and Mike turned up at my garage studio and we got on well, so relaxed and easy to get along. We gone through probs and start to shoot. At some point I just dance along like i did my tiktok lol.

We went through 4 hours shoot without knowing, see result, love and cant wait to see the finishing touch. He also let md chose what I like on zoom the next day which was kind.

I did a one hour virtual zoom shoot with Mike and it was our vwry first time working together (during quarantine!) .It was challenging as we were doing it via zoom but we managed to get some great shots in.I loved his portfolio,vision and artistery and foun him ro be absolutely lovely,very friendly,good at giving directions,loves a good chin wag like me and was very respectable.Once we can get back out of the lockdown and see each other again we will deffintly do a priper shoot.He is an absolute gent you will not be dissapointed!! I worked with Mike for the first time the other day and had an absolute BLAST! Mike is so unique, creative and one of a kind! His artwork is out of this world... the level of detail and precision is tremendous. I love Mikes spirit and he has such an enigmatic energy and aura about him, that instantly puts you at ease. I was feeling a little tired after a busy few days but we had such a fun, productive and creative session together! I loved the spontaneity and the natural flow of sets we created. It was very productive but equally relaxed- my two favourite ingredients!

I cannot wait to see the paintings produced from this photography session and look forward to receiving the one that I will cherish forever.

Every so often you will come to leave a reference on here, and not really know where to begin... And for ALL of the right reasons, this is one of them for me!

I had the absolute pleasure of shooting with Mike yesterday, after we had exchanged a few emails only last week... And what a bloody shoot it was!

I believe that Mike's art folio - in all of his chosen mediums - speaks volumes for itself, but what you, perhaps, can't see is the man behind this splendid work. Well, let me tell you, he is an utter delight! Easy going, kind, considerate, humorous and (as many of his reviews state already) a true master of light and shadow. The time we spent together flew by us, and the results captured are nothing short of spectacular. Practically each and EVERY shot is a banger. No word of a lie.

In the (very) little time that we had to plan, we have ended up with some - even if I do say so myself - COLOSSAL - images, and Mike now has the (not so) enviable task of choosing what to edit!

Thank you very much again for an epic day Mike... Your hospitality was second to none and you already know my enthusiasm for what we have created. Until next time! 😊

It was a pleasure to meet and work with Mike for the first time doing a nude shoot at my home location in Perth. We achieved a fabulous variety of images with some amazing results which will be used as photography and also Mike will turn into drawings and paintings. An amazing shoot and working in a style to create some motion and flow with movement and texture captured within the images.

Mike arrived on time and he is such a free spirit and gentleman with a very professional and friendly manner. We hit it off very well and had a lovely, relaxed and fun shoot.

Very polite and always making sure I was happy with what we were shooting, our time just flew by and we had a highly productive session. Mike was confident at giving direction plus communicating what he was looking to shoot and giving me plenty of freedom to pose as I wished also.

I highly recommend Mike to all creatives, do not miss the opportunity to work alongside him. I look forward to our next shoot together. Such a wonderful person creating unique art and capturing more than just an image.

Really enjoyed working with Mike ,I totally loved the way he worked, and adored the exploration with movement and photography, this was new ground for me.I felt he was very respectful of my boundaries and I felt safe to try posing in a abandoned way which overall I felt we produced some great photos.And it was really refreshing working with a artist, who really knows how to bring the best out of the feminine form thank you Mike I would highly recommend.
