Michiel Siegers

Hi,

My name is Michiel Siegers. I'm Dutch and busy with photography since I was 15. I was born in 1970, so you do the maths. I have moved to the UK in 2006 with my family (wife and twin daughters). I have done the school of photography in Apeldoorn in the Netherlands in early 2000's. I have done portrait work, weddings, family and newborns. I also enjoy landscape, macro, abstract, all sorts really... I have done work in The Netherlands and in the UK.

I do have my own studio lighting set with black and white backdrop etc, so can move around. Most of the time I prefer to use natural light, but I also work comfortably in a studio environment.

I work with digital and analogue on 135 and square medium format. I have learned the trade in the analogue era, just when digital gained more popularity. 

The reason why I have joined is that it is a long while since I have done model shoots and I am aiming to hone my skills more in this department. I'm interested in normal fashion, portrait, burlesque, etc. I also like to experiment a lot, try out new things.

I hope to meet nice people on here to photograph, being male or female models. If love it when models are interactive with their own idea's on a shoot. Like I said, I like to experiment and the model needs to get something out of the shoot as well.
