Hi Everyone I am a amateur photographer based in Aldershot, Hampshire. My back ground is in Documentary, Film sets, street, food and cataloging for museums. I do not have much experience with working with Models which is why I have said I am an Amateur as all my paid work is been with objects that do not move.  I have a boring job now with a pension and the same pay every month, this does not mean that I still have to give up my passion and love of art.

So what I have learned after my first week on Purplrport.

1st Work on ideas and mood boards before the shoot. Although all the models I have worked with have been happy to wing it with me. I can see how this would be short lived especially by a third shoot.

2nd I really like working closely with the model, showing them the back of the camera every few shots. Getting fed back and working on ideas. I enjoy a good chat so I am happy with as many breaks the model wants to take. i believe the more comfortable everyone is the better the images.

I hope to continue to work with more people on here in the future.

As I am sure you have all noticed I have discovered Split toning and colour lookup. Have not perfected yet by a long way but I am sure you will agree it has made all the difference to my editing.  Keep hoping to improve even more.
